Anybody seen the 2007 clutch problem on their Nismo?

I've seen it twice now, once at 650 miles and again around 1300 miles -- both times when I was slightly distracted and revving up from a complete stop, ie the RPM was higher than normal when I released the clutch, from a standstill and was in first gear.

My clutch pedal defintely stuck near the floor the last time it happened. I was in a construction zone when it happened, but I noticed a smell that was suspiciously like the smell of a new clutch being broken in (kinda smells burnt, if you know what I am talking about).

If it happens again I am going to take the car to the dealer for a little conversation. I'll have to do a little more homework to find out what people are telling the dealer service departments to get them to recognize the problem (or get them to get the proper info from Nissan).

i hate first gear in this thing. i can not get used to it. i have not noticed any problems though except i have had that clutch smell a couple of times, but i have not really launced it hard out of first yet. i cant say the same for the rest, i love squeling the tires in 2ncd and 3rd!

oh i'm glad i'm not the only one who felt that way. First time i pulled out i stall felt like a total noob.

No problems from mine

Also I had a 04 G35c and the clutch is MUCH heavier to operate than my 07 nismo z.

I will say this, my fiancee has the 2007 Z and the clutch is much hard than miine in the Nismo. I havent had any problems with mine and I have taken the car to the track (where I figured if I was going to have problems with it, it would be there) and I have over 3500K on it.

Does anyone feel a vibration in the pedal when you step down on the pedal to shift gears.
