Call Mile High Clear Bra. The guy came to my house for install. I got bumper, 48" on hood and fendors, and 2 small strips under rear bumper to protect against nicks from rear wheels (all of this custom-cut; he doesn't use pre-cut kits). All for $475. He is a 3M-authorized installer.

Clear bra is worth the cost. My 03 Z's front bumper looked like it was sandblasted after 20000 miles. Some people say they'll just repaint it, but I'd rather replace the clear bra every few years than repaint the bumper.

The nose on the NISMO is mucho different than a Z car, so you are kinda at their mercy, these are custom cut. Until the demand goes up and a good computer programs for the clear bra is created for this application, you are paying for the right to own a NISMO.

Got mine done at the dealer for about $500. When the dealer called the guy they use to do it, he specificly asked if it was a regular Z or a Nismo, as he had both cuts. Put it on with no problem. It looks great, and makes the car really shine at night under a street light. You cant see the tape unless your less than 3 feet from the car, and even then I actually think it looks good.

Maybe because I know what the front bumper would look like if I didnt have it

i have a black 07 nismo. i put a clear bra on my car. cost $1800. i live in norfolk va and the roads are horrible. its like driving in a sand box. the bra covers everything from the seam on the crease that runs down the side of the car. its about 2/3 up the door all the way down, also about 6 inches on the roof behind the windshield, up the pillars, plus the entire body kit front and rear, probably about 50 percent of the car is covered. you cant even see it on the car. i only have 1 rock chip on the cars body. if you look in the wheel wells there are chips everywhere. i can imagine that the car would be the same.
be aware of the place that does the work. they can seriously mess it up. i would do the research and find out who else gets the work done by them. mine was the guy in orlando who does all the vehicles for the masaratti dealership.

Thanks for the advice and feedback...probably worth doing the whole thing. I've been going to the same guys for tint and clear bra for a few years now--at least the quality of the work won't be an issue.

Just to mention it, a good detail, clay, polish and wax should be done before the clear bra is applied.

That's the same advice the installers gave me...I'm getting closer to the idea that I should just do it--protect the investment.

I got my Nismo the clear bra before it went on the highway and paid about $750. I had 1/3 of the hood, the front bumper and side mirrors done. This is mandatory for canyon and highway driving. It has saved my front-end many times and is well worth the price imo.

I would suggest that you use the factory touch-up paint. Also, you can purchase a scratch/nick repair kit from PepBoys (or the like) to help smooth out the unevenness as the paint dries. I have found this to work very well.
