Default Should I put Sparco seats in the Nismo?

I wonder if I should get two nice red Sparcos for my Nismo. Does anyone here have experience with this and can tell me if this is a good idea and worth the hassle. I would love to be able to revert this without too much hassle in case I want to sell it someday. Might be better to sell like it was stock.

man, if you want to put sparco seats in the nismo, put it in the nismo.

i got my dream car now, #123 ppw nismo, and its awesome. im changing the lights out (b/c thats what i like to modify in a car) and im putting in some quality audio/video. the stock stereo is just horrible!! - in the meantime, at least the exhaust note is so so nice.

modify the car on your own tastes. everyone has different tastes, just go with what you want. thats the whole point of modifying the car isnt it? having something that is truely unique to you.

yeah go with bride. they make some really sweet seats, you can even keep a reclining seat with certain bride models. plus check out the leather/bride mesh insert/red stitching they have on certain models. sweet.

honestly, i'm not that impressed with the nismo seats. for a car that can get close to scrambling your brain in terms of lateral acceleration and braking, i would think some more aggressive bolstering would be in order. too soft for me.

I'm looking to getting the Nismo and I'm in love with the white color, but considering I don't think the Red/Black seats go with the white, I am gonna put Bride seats first thing in the car. =) So do it!

I am looking at seats only because I want to put a harness in and am not sure that I can use the stock seat with a track harness. At this point I know I can get the stillen harness bar. I like the schroth harness because they have a 4pt anti sub harness however they recommend its use with a track seat. Anyone else looking at putting a harness in? Just turned 1200 miles and can't wait to open it up.

i was just looking at the takata site today. you can definitely use a 4 pt. with stock seats, but it did seem like they said the race seats with pass thru slots might work better. not to thread jack, but does anyone have a 4 pt race style harness installed, and if so, do you use that for daily driving? just wondering.

I love the Schroth Harness, had one in my Renault Clio when I was still in Germany. But never saw them here in the states. Do you need a Rollbar/Cage to install a 4 point harness. Or are there any regulations for this type stuff?
Sounds like a awesome idea.

Replace what you want but, KEEP EVERYTHING

Cars like the "Nismo" will be collectible in the future and if they are 100% original... the value is golden

that is soooooo true. A friend of mine has a original Renault Alpine R110. He was offered more than 100000 Euro for this car. Thats part of why I would like to do this. Keep the original seat nice and new.

Talked to a fellow who preps cars for racing. He suggested corbeau seats. I checed them out and they appear to look good at a reasonable price and using their harrness I will not need a harness bar. Anyone had any experience using Corbeau seats?
