and yeah, you don't want to do that to your kitchen. i learned the hard way of trying to argue with the "War Department" (the Wife)...you never win.

(easy on the brakes for 500 miles) it's a really nice car. i love it. i wouldn't consider it for a daily driver though. i'm kinda paranoid about it...something about the serialized plate and knowing that repair costs will be a lot more.....

I bought a Touring 6 speed, great ride, no problems, and no brake dust. So, unless you track your car or enjoy wearing a kidney belt, go for standard Z without the Brembo brakes, and you will save several thousand dollars. I installed an Nismo cat back exhaust prior to delivery and it's the best option I've every installed on any car, looks great and sounds even better. It's my daily driver.

My brakes squeak like crazy only with light braking. Doesn't bother me much since most of my driving is on the highway, but driving around downtown this past weekend was starting to get annoying. Hope there's an easy fix. 2500 miles on it.

The that annoys me about the car is the brakes squeak... For some reason it happens when I have been driving the car for a while... I asked the dealer about it and they said its the Brembo Brakes and there is nothing they can do about it....
if anyone is still looking for tires one im throwing on my car is the BFG KDW-2 they are supposidly the closest thing u can get to a drag radial without having to actualy throw one on thier a soft compound tire that will grip and im thinking a 295/35/19 will be perfect for the back
Well, I have almost 10K on mine.
- The rear brakes squeek randomly under light braking.
- If I don't drive it for a couple days, starting it scares me a little. There is a rough turn over felt. Kind of like a thud while it's starting.
- The paint is pretty crappy, even inside. The plastic around the grip handle is so easily scratched off.
- Tires are not great at all
- Feels slow, even though I know it's not...guess that's more of a problem with me
But, I still love my car and can't wait for the better weather to take it to the track some more.

I have a 2008 Nismo Z and I love the way it handles, my one problem is that when i accelerate at full throttle, i hear a clicking or popping noise coming from my dash board and or gas pedal area, its frustrating, if anyone knows whats causing the problem please let me know asap.....but aside from that, this car is perfect.
+1 on the squeeky break issue. Anyone find out any more details on that? It only sqeeks under light breaking like many of you said. They still stop on a dime when you hit them hard without any squeeking. My car has about 8000 miles on it.
My father owned a 2005 G35x and it was awful. Come to find out it was caused by excess break dust. Don't know how that makes the wheels squeek, but it could potentially be the problem with our brakes as well.
