What's the difference in HP between an Nismo and a ordinary 350z

 

The Nismo doesn't have any engine changes from the 07-08 HR engine, so it has 306 hp.

Is there anywhere on this site that goes thru what each stock model has as far as HP say from 2004 to new. I have seen them advertised with 313 and 410 or something like that
A 2004 model here in Thailand cost +/- $120.000.00, I would love a new one but they are $170.000.00

Isn't the NISMO muffler supposed to give a little bit more? I know the engines the same.

It's not a lot, that much I do know - probably 6 or 10 maximum.

 

However, with the Nismo cat back exhaust that comes with the Nismo Z, you get an addtional 6 HP, plus a great sounding exhaust. I have an 08 Touring with a Nismo cat back, love it.

 

I was thinking the same thing about the exausts. So the HP is really somewhere around the 312 mark.

Standard Engine = 306

Nismo Exaust = ~ 6

Total HP = 312?

 

Nismo doesnt have a cat back exhaust.It has a stock 350Z exhaust with a Nismo Muffler added on for looks.

 

I parked next to Nismo today and observed that the Nismo tips are much larger than my Nismo cat back. The sound is about the same. It's amazing and a shame that Nissan would not put the real deal on the Nismo.
