Default NISMO lowered with Cusco Zero-2's *updated pics 02/10/07*

*Updated pics on page 3*

Well, some jackass had to be the first to do it. I just pulled it into the maintenance shop at work and did it myself last night. So it still needs to be aligned. It hasn't been the best weather here and the car is dirty as hell. I'll post up some better pics when we get a nice day and I can wash it up good and proper.

Thanks to Adam at Z1 for taking care of me.

Man! GREAT! :-)
can't wait for mine..... :-)

do you mind to tell me how much is the front camber? (when you'll go to the aligment shop).. I had 2.5 in my 06 and she was DAMN aggressive into the corners... take care of the rear one.. lower at least to 2 or less.. otherwise you'll lose traction.

On my '06, I had roughly -2.5 of negative camber on the rear and I thought it handled really well. Of course, not the best for tire wear.

What camber kits are you guys getting?

spc seems popular, honestly i dont see much of a difference between camber kits. kinda like test pipes, they all pretty much work the same.

Yeah, the SPC/eibachs are popular choices for the rear, but I'd opt for the battleversions given a choice. Can't beat the value of the SPCs though.

As far as spacers, once he gets it aligned and adjusts the camber, the rears should be pretty decent without spacers. Wider tires like 275s or 285s would fill it out even more. Possibly a small spacer up front though.

I was lowered on the GT/Track rims which are the same as the Nismos, and don't think I'd be able to run a 15mm spacer.

You really need to get a camber kit. The best one out there in quality is the SPL which has actually been tested on a road course before it was ever released. It is built like no other one. The quality is superb.

Your tires will wear out extremly fast, like 5k miles if you are lucky unless you fix that camber in the rear and front.

You won't be able to align your car without the camber kit.

actually depends on the front... you know..
I had -2.5 front an -2 rear (I started from -2.2 rear going up to -1.8)
and to me that 0.5 deg difference was good, but still quite oversteering
(nismo S tune suspensions).

front I had Cusco, back spc.. I'll go SPL on the nismo for the back once I'll have my coilovers. (if I cannot put back to that difference).

Wow.. The car looks amazing!! How much did it cost you?? I want to lower mine but I dont want to use lowering springs cause I'm worried about losing performence (handling that is). Once you get it aligned I would like to know if it handles better or about the same... Keep us informed...
