Default Do you love your NISMO?

This may have been asked, not sure.

Do you guys love your NISMO? (Lol)
/Does the ride feel any different from the normal 07 Z's?
Any faster?

My friend and I were discussing that it's 38k but it doesnt come with navi, or a bose system, or leather seats, or automatic seats. He was like wtf?

Well, Nissan's target market for this car was the true enthusiast / track day attendee. This car was built to handle. Yes the car is faster if you compare lap times, but probably not if your a straight line type of guy. And for the $38k you get a better chassis, cool damper things attached to the frame rails f/r, suspension, thicker sway bars, a bad *** look that functions, and some unique interior. I do wish it had a better stereo, but as far as the Navigation goes... like people have preached before, there are way better aftermarket ones available, and leather seats dont have enough grip on them to hold you place while hitting the corners, and who really needs auto seats? are you really that lazy? It all depends on you, to me the car is worth every penny.

It's been discussed before, but there is a lot of value in the package. If you try to get just the bodykit and suspension pieces after the fact, it would cost a good deal of money. Not to mention the welded seams done by Autech which are unique to the car.

Think about it like this. If you add leather ,Bose ,power seats, navigation. All that stuff adds weight to the car and takes away performance. The first Dodge vipers that came were stripped down by far more than this, just look it up. They are now collector cars. I wouldn't complain even if the Nismo even came Without a radio.
As for loving the nismo. I catch my breath moments before I even think about getting into it, Its almost like having sex for the first time in some cases. I find myself turning the radio off just to hear the engine while driving.
Ya, I love it. And yes it does ride way different from a 350Z.

haha, I agree. There is a car commercial, i forgot for what, but it ask the question,

"When you turn your car on, does it return the favor?"

and when I thought about it, I had to agree.

If you want leather and Bose (not sure WHY you would want Bose, but whatever) buy a Grand Touring.

If you want a better suspension, a cool, functional body kit and a car that you can drive from the showroom to the track, buy a Nismo.

My Nismo still somewhere at the PORT in Miami, still not shipped yet. But if you ask me if I love my NISMO, my answer is "YES"!!! I am not really into the TRACK or need excellent performance or anything like that, but having and owning a NISMO makes me feel sooooo GOOD, UNIQUE and PRESTIGIOUS~~~

Really, I 100% prefer to have a NISMO than any other trim, coz like I said, it's UNIQUE what we got, right? If they let me choose between a BMW 335i convertible, Nismo Z or a CLK 350, I will surely pick up the NISMO like I did this time.

Anyways, YES, I LOVE what I got, and very very very PROUD of owning it!!!

I bought this car and have never had a second thought. Every time I have to drive anywhere I leave with a smile on my face.

As for the interior... Doesnt phase me in the least bit. I'm the only one driving it so I never change the seat position. Radio has easy access, and I got an Ipod DLO player for $100 bucks. What else do you really need. No NAV just gives me an excuse to get lost and drive around more

People who know cars respect it for and people who are oblivious think it's more expensive than an S class Mercedies.

I can't really say I need all the performance as I don't track it. But it sure is nice when you have the road all to yourself, and to know that if you had to manuever quickly you can do it with confidence. In that regard I actually feel pretty safe in it, even though a Soccer mom in her SUV talking on her cell phone could squash me in the blink of an eye and probably not even flinch...

Only thing that pisses me off..... sort of

Dumb or should I say ill informed people think my parents broke the bank for this car and can't beleive a 21 year old can afford something like that. Little do they know its probably the same they paid for their Acura TL.....

But in a way all these people with their camreys who have not done their research just make the Nismo even more unique.

Default its a great car

so far i have put 5000 miles on my black nizmo. the car drives great. i use to have a 2001 mustang gt. i had a complete kenny brown suspension, roll cage, really the whole deal. this car corners better than that one ever did. i am still leaning the car. i push it more and more every day. it has yet to even break loose in hard cornering. i plan to work on the frame a bit also and put a bit of suspension into it to stiffen it even more. so im very excited to see how it works at that point.

I have always loved Z's. I had an '03 Track that I bought with 25K on it and had to sell it due to financial responsibilities aka dating and seriously involved with someone with a kid. Two seater roadsters are hard to justify with a family I am sure.

So being single, no longer involved and having come into some Cash. I bought my dream car My Redline Nismo. Not being my primary vehicle it remains in storage till May. Just my summer ride!!! In heated storage with only 700 miles on it now. I could have had almost any car including a GT-R but this was the one! That and I couldn't wait for the GT-R to be released or it prolly would have been the one! I just ordered my Custom plates for it this week.

They are a head turner. Awesome car! Completely happy with it.
