If they agreed to this and the salesman already admitted to it, then I'd raise the roof. "There's nothing we can do about it" means they won't do anything about it. Don't take it sitting down.

Would be nice if the dealership honored your agreement. Unfortunitely you made a huge mistake by signing the papers and not catching the erorr. Don't be surprised if they don't fix it.
Enjoy your new Z and postup some pics!!!

don't you review the document you're signing before actually signing?

Can't you return the car to the dealership within the first 14 Days or purchase or so? That is what I remember being told, but please do correct me if I am wrong.

Definitely be a hardass about it. Say you can't pay the extra $1K. The last thing they would ever want to do is take the car back because they won't be able to sell it for $1K less if someone already drove off the lot with it. Get it done tomorrow. Either walk out with your money back and give back the car or get the $1K. They aren't known as stealerships for no reason...and next time read what you sign.

Any word on this? I agree give the car back or get them to take 1K off. I hate dealers that try to sneak in an extra charge.

Yes i know...and my repayments are higher, They offered me $500 to start with as it was 50% my fault for not noticing it when I signed the agreement I agreed I should have noticed, but that still doesen't detract from the fact they broke a verbal agreement i had with the salesman,by the way the salesman did back me up,I also told him that the finance guy didn't itemize everything like they usually do otherwise I would have picked it up, (i'm talking to the gm by the way) he said he would have to go check out the video,I didn't know you were video'd during signing or maybe he was just BSing me..anyways i said go ahead and check your video...Ten minuets later he came back and was going on about how people come back after buying a car and trying to get money back because they over charged them,But he said i believe you and offered to cut me a check for 1k....I figured that was he best i was gonna get so I took the money.
I guess there's a lesson to be learnt check you paper work before you sign

Take it easy ..Moss
