Default 295/30 on Nismo Rays

So I did a bit of digging yesterday and found out that some 295/30/19 have different tire width depending on brand. Example Bridgestone re050a 285/30 have a Section Width of 11.3. The BS 295/30 re960as has a Section Width of 11.6. Example 2 is Contisportcontact2 295/30 has a sectionwidth of 12.2. So in theory if I switch my 285/30 that is a section width of 11.3 to 295/30 BS section width 11.6 it should be insignificant. Really beatingmy head over this since so many pps want that 295/30 look

295.30 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 has a SW of 11.9
295.30 Pirelli PZero has a section SW of 11.6
295.30 Yokohama ADVAN Sport has a SW of 11.6
295.30 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A has a SW of 12.3
295.30 Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS has a SW of 11.6

285.30 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A has a SW of 11.3

The least expensive is Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position for the SW

Lond live the Nismo Z
Thanks

I run RE01Rs,they handle great and last longer than the OEM RE050s.265/35-18 fronts and 275/30-19 rears. To autocross I run 285/30-18 and 295/30-19 Hooser A6s.

Please note that a small purpose of this thread is also to signify no rolling of the fenders with the width. Please post your experience if you have the 295/30 as well.

Please note if you say I use X tires and looks and handles great please post size. Thanks

Chugg what size where the RE960AS Pole Position.

My Hoosiers are spaced out .250" at each wheel and cleared both front and rear without rolling the fenders.

Interesting. I would love to see the section width of the Toyo T1R's.
Where did you get this info? (or did you just compile it from various sites?)
Post a link if possible. Thanks!

can someone post pics, im still learning the tire game. Even on a conservative launch these tires don't even grip.

also with the 295s on the back, will tire rub if wheel spacers involved..

I'm looking at upgrading myself... anyone crammed a 305 rear on the 10" rims?

Nice info on the widths.

Whether it's worth it to run 295s, that's up to you, but it shouldn't rub. There are many who run 295/30/19s with more aggressive offsets and lower suspensions that don't encounter any problems.

^That size with stock power is all for looks IMO.

On a 10" wheel such as the Nismo wheels, 275s are plenty.

Of course I wouldn't mind running 285s or 295s and for certain brands, it really doesn't cost that much more.

Oh I was thinking the difference between the 265 and 275 wouldn't be that big a difference.
