I have 2008 350z NISMO built in 01.20.2008. #1140.


I love this thing, I had an 2008 350z 6MT touring before.


Why does the NISMO Z feel lighter? Even the 6MT feels much smoother lighter then my other 6MT 08 I had.

The whole car is sick; I mean its smoother lighter. Also in NISMO I don't have that nasty burn smell that comes from clutch when you over rev.

Do you think Autech changed the flywheel and clutch on 08 NISMO with NISMO parts? Also how did they get the steering to feel lighter as well??

Can we get some people with NISMOs to run part numbers to see if they are different then normal 08 350z?

and the Nismo Z is actually heavier. it feels lighter cause it has stiffer springs and stiffer chassis

 

It def feels lighter & more nimble. Mostly due to the stiffer chassis and matched suspension.

 

It does FEEL nicer than my 06 Z.
Definately faster, and easier to throw
around. I love the handling on the twisties.

 

The ride is much nicer then my old 08.

The whole setup rocks. I can take turns so much faster then before and not kick the tires out.


I don't think I would ever change the setup at all.

Nismo is 23 pounds lighter than a touring. 11 pounds lighter than enthusiast.
