for those debating between 2 materials....this is the fabric that is protecting your nismo! while you're sleeping and torrential rains and blowing dust attack outside. especially those who keep their ride outside. so....unless the best cover and OK cover is the difference in you eating dinner this week or making rent, you know which one you should buy. just my thoughts....

Thanks Jmark for getting this done. I ordered my cover last week, got the super weave since I will be parking my car outside. Said it would take about 3 weeks for the car cover to arrive. Will post pics ASAP.

Cool -AR-. How much did the Superweave run you? I am leaning that way too. Only question I have is it too light and therefore hard to handle in the wind?

Hi folks,

I received my cover today. I have buyer's remorse. Nothing wrong with the cover or the quality, I think I just don't like it. I'll put it on the Nismo tomorrow and get a picture up. I paid $249 with shipping. If anyone is interested I might sell it for a few dollars less. I haven't decided yet. However, if you are interested let me know.

^ John why you don't like it. I think you bought an indoor cover correct?

Hi folks,

Sorry I took so long to get back. There is nothing wrong with the cover and there is nothing wrong with the quality of the cover. It is the good stuff. My remorse was limited only to buying a car cover for a car that sits in a garage. It started off as a good idea then seemed kind of redundant to me. I still haven't decided about selling it. I would have responded quicker but work has been a killer this week. Thanks again for notifying me about this purchase opportunity and keep me in mind for future purchases. I'll get some pictures up later tonight.

Hello All! In response to a post above, Nismo #0001 is now here. Didn't know there was a specific Nismo forum here until Jmark posted about the car cover at zcar.com. Still debating on the cover material to buy. Car is garaged unless driving it, (currently have a generic sized cover), but I am probably going to the National Convention where it may have to sit outside. Anyone else planning on going to Cleveland?

In response to a question before its asked, its neither a daily driver nor stored in a bubble in the garage. I drive it occasionally on weekends or to Z Club events. Great car. Glad to see a lot of people driving theirs.

Also have a 1980 red/black 10th AE 280ZX survivor with 42k miles. Sold my 1994 300ZX 2+2.

Here's the pictures. This cover is an indoor cover called the "Duststop".

Honestly, I spelled Nismo for him.

Cover appears to fit OK John. I'll let James know about the misspelling. I have sent him an email with your pics attached.

Nice cover, no doubt about it. I know it is an indoor cover but I'd use it outside for temporary times, i.e. car shows or whatever. My point is this cover will not blow off. Good tight fit once it was on the car. This is the good stuff. Keep in touch.

^ John contact CCC customer service. James said they'll take care of the mispelled word.

Hi folks,

I have an update here. This is a good company, let me tell you why it is. I called them about the misspelling (Nizmo) on the car cover. They told me to hold on to it until they can get a return label out to me. I assumed this was to cover the postage. They said they would correct it and send it back to me. Now that's how it is done when it is done correctly.

In an earlier unrelated incident, I had to pay $43 in shipping costs to return a Stillen Cold Air Intake to MSA that was not as it was represented in their write up. That really ticked me off and I cancelled my account at MSA after they refused to reimbusre me.

Anyway, as I said above, this is a good business.

Good to hear John. Is your cover hanging too low in the back?
