I don't really think of the Z as a gas-saver, but they were right about one thing. It certainly does costs $80 to fill up.

I recorded 27.9 mpg today on the highway for a straight 30 minutes at 75 mph.

Compared to my recent cars, suprisingly its quite the gas saver! Of course that was not a factor in the reason I bought it.

The Z is DEF good on gas when on the highway. But around town, like 70% of my usual driving is,....not so much.

According to the dash computer, its like 17.8 or 18.3, last time i checked. And that's with a mix of 70% city and 30% highway. Ill check again in a few hours. I know yesterday i drove exactly the usual 70/30 split. So if the computer is somewhat right, that should show my particular MPG avg.

17-18mph is what I get around town myself. Unfortunantly I do not commute on the highway as much like I wish. My brother is getting alot better gas milage as his usual driving in his Nismo is highway both to and from work. So I get the short end of the stick LOL.
