Default Just installed my Clear Bra!

Here are some pics and my thoughts!

Where did I buy it - www.invisiblemask.com
How much was it - $360 - Entire kit shipped!
Film Choosen - Invisible Mask w/Lifetime Warranty
Film Thickness - 8 mil
What was included:
1) Hood Piece - 1 Piece (Goes up almost 2 feet on the hood)
2) Fender Pieces - 2 Pieces (Covers just past the headlight)
3) Headlight Pieces - (Both)
4) Mirrors - 2 Pieces for each Mirror
5) Front Bumper - 1 Large Piece with 2 Smaller Pieces
6) Lower Bumper - 1 Large Piece with 4 Smaller Pieces (for the pillars in the grill)
7) Door Sill - 2 Pieces (one for each door) - I probably won't bother installing these, they serve little purpose
7) Install Kit - (2 Squirt Bottles, Squeege, Needle to remove bubbles, Install CD/DVD and Manual, MicroFiber Cloth and Razor blade)

What did I have to still buy to install it (didn't have any in the house):
1) Large bottle of Rubbing Alcohol (70% Isopropyl) - Couple of bucks
2) Small bottle of Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo - Couple of bucks

Comments:

This is not a quick and easy job. It took me about 5.5 hours to install the entire kit AFTER you clean and remove all wax from the front portion of the car. The majority of the small items can all be done by one person (mirrors, headlights, fenders, grill pieces) but when it comes to the large pieces (hood, front bumper and lower bumper) you will definitely need an extra set of hands. These pieces are very large and the last thing you want to do is drop it on the ground to get it all dirty and ruin it. All in all, definitely worth the money and the time spent. Such a great way to save a few bucks and save the front portion of your car. Would recommend everyone to get one.

The tint was not purchased from the same website. I got someone local to do the whole tint job for $120. So $30 would have been saved I guess but didn't bother.

Thanks for the comments!

how long will that spray on liquid last? don’t you need to re-spray it every time after a car wash? Is it sort of like those liquid from a pressurized container?

i have a clearbra on my nismo and it works great. i have taken some large rocks and it leaves marks in the bra, actually ripped the bra and didnt mark the car. best thing to clean it with it the turtle wax liquid polish. if you put any abraisive cleaner on it, it will get swirls and marks in it just like the paint. after 18000 miles my car still looks great but you can see a lot of marks on the clear bra from rocks.
