Hey all,

I recently traded in my 03 base model for a 08 Nismo and I must say I made a great decision. The difference between the cars is amazazaing. Better handling, more power, higher redline and did i mention it has more power and better handling. Love it. On a side note I was wondering if anyone here has installed in any of the nismo upgrades yet and what they thought of them. I was thinking about installing some of their parts but have been kinda hesitant.

 

Welcome! Congrats on the upgrade! This car is definately an upgrade in comparison to some other vehicles I've had.

Yeah, but if you've gone from the a Z with the DE engine to a Z (not necessarily the Nismo) with the HR engine, it's a big difference.

OK....we all got nismos because it is already out of the box ready to go, I dont think it needs anything added to it .......Do something really DIFFERENT to the nismo, and leave it stock. One day you will have a true collector car, if everyone that is moding there car to gain more HP why didnt you just buy a car with a bigger engine (hp) ETC.......leave the NISMOS ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mod the nismo, there is many improvements that can be made....it will never be a true collector car.

 

how do you figure? it's a limited edition/production vehicle, only time may tell

 

yea it might not be up on stage going for 60 70k, but it will be sort after...

yea, but corvettes are over rated

 

had a chance to "race" a new C6 with the LS3 yesterday at the track... it's fast, but now so "track oriented"... at the end of the session he had is power steering fluid boiling and spilling around, and you can smell burnt oil. btw I lapped him only once... driver good but not excellent.

Mod the hell outta the Nismo.

 

He obviously didn't want the Vette or he would have gotten one. This isn't a Vette forum; it's a 350Z forum. I love the NISMO but destroy that thing with mods.
