My 350Z NISMO CRASHED!!!!
This one was around #900~, it got totalled by the dealer a while back. We had a car show and the dealer brought this out. Some lady in a Minivan was fighting with some kids and came over into the guys lane, and hit him on the driver side, which pushed him over to the right lane, and there was a f350 coming on that lane with a brush guard, well the ford took his passenger side out as you see here. The car got totaled.
I never found out the exact number. But it was a 2008 model, and was never sold.

I think too many people rely on the computer to do their driving for them. I have a Base Z, a 99 Miata and a Dodge Caravan. Neither of the three have traction control or any kind of stability control. I have no problem driving in the rain with any of them and have never lost control going around a traffic circle. I suggest learning to drive the car. We all have traction control built into our right foot and that is probably the best form of traction control. Sorry to hear you wrecked your car.

There was that other NISMO that got wrecked (RED). The one that jumped the curb and landed on the Altima... I think it was in a mall or something.
Don't have pictures though.
We should make a wrecked NISMO thread.

i had the same thing happen to me, but didn't crash, luck i guess, went into a left hand 90 turn and downshifted to 2nd may have just let out the clutch a bit fast and the back just lost it, slid sideways and just hit the gas to spin me all the way around instead of sliding sideways into the curb, stopped facing the other way was late so there was no one else out on the road, worked well but scared the **** out of me
It sounds like you are blaming the rain, blaming your car, blaming the TCS and blaming the road crews for not putting up a sign that says "slippery when wet".
Yet you also mention hydroplaning, wet roads, giving the car gas and trying to correct oversteer.
Own up to your mistakes: that's the only way that you will ever learn from them.

I am not trying to provide an excuse for what in this case sounds like driver error, but I found that the OEM tires on my 2005 350ZR were so slippery and unpredictable in the wet as to be dangerous. So much so, that I was reluctant to drive in the rain. Recognizing the problem, I never got into any trouble with them. However, I replaced them after 12,000km with Goodyear Eagle F1's - they are much more stable and predictable in the wet than the OEM's.
Glad you weren't killed and still walk out alive. Just be more careful next time you drive in wet
P.S. 13,000 miles in a 3 months old car? That's a lot, where you drive it to man?
