Default Tires

Hey everyone,
I recently just got a Nismo Z (931). May i just say this is a kick AZZZZZ car. However, i understand that these tires are very good for what this vehicle is. My question is, is there a better tire than bridgestones? I would appreciate any input as to getting the best possible traction and good tire life. Thanks!

I've been trying to figure this out too. From what I've seen Michelline Pilot Sport 2's are close. I cant quite figure out how much better they are, for the extra cost. I have driven a BMW with the PS2's and they seem to be a little stickier and flexible when they get heated up.

Most sports cars I have seen either come with the Bridgestone Potenza's (STI, 350z, I think Ferrari F430 was or is using them) or the Michelline PS2's (BMW/Porsche).

I've also heard Perelli makes a good sport/street tire, but I would assume they are very expensive because of the name. I haven't done any reasearch into them though.

Another route would be to go with some sort of semi-slicks, but you might die if you ever have to drive in the rain. But in the dry I think they would put a car in a whole different level compared to the stock sport/street tires

I changed wheels so i could go with the same size tires. So i could rotate and get resonable tire life. Falken Azenis 615 P275/40/17. Cost me appox. $600 installed on the $550 shipped 17 by 9 rims i purchase @ AFS wheels on Ebay. Don't stick quit as good as the Bridgestone's but for less than half the cost and being able to rotate with a different look that you want, priceless!

I wish we had a tire forum to talk about tires.

Venom,
How do you like the toyos? I saw the tire on their site and they look very good! Just seeking some real time input from a driver. Do they handle the same or better than the bridgestones? How are they on wet rainy roads? Are they quieter? Louder? I appreciate any input you could provide me with!
