My apologies for that expired link. It worked for a bit then closed. I just got in contact with Mr.Nangle and got a very prompt response. I should get mine pretty soon also. Thanks to the forum member who got in touch with him. What's weird is that when I purchased the car new, I never got the original certificate.

Hats off to MORPHIUSRT for getting in touch with Craig Nagle. I called Nissan Canada and North America both of which said your SOL we don't know what you are really talking about and it was only a one time deal try and find the first owner....
Called Craig in thanks to this morphiusrt, sent him a copy of my registration and within the 3 days it was in my mail box up here in cold mans country Canada.

I sent Craig an email Yesterday and he got back to me within 24 hours.
Posts below show all necessary info need. I am second owner and Craig says no problem to get the duplicates.
He did note to wait and submit all info until the new year. Estimates are 2-4 weeks delivery.
I think this is pretty sweet of Nissan to offer this sort of thing.

FYI
Mr.Nangle doesn't work for Nissan anymore (technically).... He now works for Infiniti so not too bad.
Direct quote from Craig when I asked him if there was someone else to contact to obtain them:
"No, unfortunately. The group I was running was disbanded and reassigned here in the U.S. and is now being overseen by a group in Japan. I don’t think they’ll be able to accommodate requests since I created the process for creating duplicates and funded it from my department budget."
So we might want to update the first page. Sorry for anyone that didn't obtain theirs.
He shot me email just to tell me he saw my article in Midwest Exclusive and gave me some interesting facts about my car.
"I’ve moved on to a new role at Nissan, but still love the Z. Also, I thought you’d be interested in a little extra information on your car. As you know, the 2007-08 models were continuously numbered, so a total of 1,606 Nismos were built during this time. There were only 669 2007 models and the rest were 2008 models.
Also, your car was born on 8/2/2007 and was one of 16 units built that day; 105 total Nismo 350Zs were built in August 2007."

"I was just going to update the Nismo page about the certificate of authenticity is there a new person we can contact to obtain them?"
"No, unfortunately. The group I was running was disbanded and reassigned here in the U.S. and is now being overseen by a group in Japan. I don’t think they’ll be able to accommodate requests since I created the process for creating duplicates and funded it from my department budget."
"That stinks. Well at least a bunch of us got ours.
How do you like the new position? "
"I’m enjoying it. It is similar in responsibilities. The key difference is instead of enhancing a base product (Nismo & Infiniti Performance Line), I’m now responsible for the complete vehicle/business plan from the ground up on new projects.
By the way, the U.S group changes don’t imply anything negative. Nissan is still strongly supporting the Nismo and IPL brands. We’ve just changed our business model to a global focus vs. regional; hence the consolidation in Japan. There are more resources devoted to these programs now than before. The Certificate of Authenticity was a unique offering for the original 07-08 Nismo 350Z. My personal opinion is it’s a small sacrifice in exchange for better things to come in the future."

I think your car is #1508. If so, your vehicle came off line on 7/15/2008 and arrived in the U.S. through our Newport News port, which is located in Virginia. It was one of 3 units built that day and 76 Nismo 350Zs were built in July of 2008.
Regarding the super G, I can’t comment on future product direction. Information we can formally share is located on the www.infinitiusa.com website under future vehicles.
