Hey guys the dealership called me back asking me to go work out another deal with them. It appears that no one is going to buy the Nismo. I want the Nismo for 30k...what do you guys think? I also want to buy it before Feb 2nd so I can get the 1.9% APR for 60 months.

New Nismo for 30 K Go for it! I just saw one at my dealer and they want 39,xxx for a new 08

I dont know wtf is wrong with dealers up here. Its to the point were its frustrating because they will argue with you about how its a rare edition and its worth the 39 untill their blue in the face.

Then you call them up a week later and say "Hey the dealership in NH will give me it for Invoice will you match it?" Sure enought this was the situation with my car and they matched it on the spot.

WTF was the point of all that arguing. They were lucky I came back to them at all, at that point it was just the convience for me not to drive an hour and a half.

It pissed me off how stupid they think people are. I mean especially with the internet, everything is pretty much listed out in bold face. And they will still argue with you that KBB is not correct or some BS.

BAHHHH

But good luck with the car bro

Slightly off topic, but at this angle, this pic is a prime example of how much cleaner the lines of the 350 are over the 370.
If i did it again, i'd get PPW. I LOVE this color!!

I'd stick to your guns. 32 isn't a whole lot lower then 33,855. They will come down again if they really want the sale.

its a buyers market. pay what YOU want to pay not what the dealer wants. if they decline your offer just show up in like a week with the same offer and see what they say then.

I'd stick to your guns. Any dealers that have any left from '08 are simply not going to be able to sell them easily. Even with a good economy, this is a very niche car that appeals to a very small group of people. It only has two seats, and face it, it's pretty expensive. Now take that and add in a horrible economy where people are losing jobs every day and even many with jobs can't get financing. Now the expensive niche car is that much harder to move off the lot. It might get to the point where dealers might have to actually take a small loss just to get rid of them. On cars like the '08 z, I'm actually surprised the rebate's aren't bigger than $2500. I'm keeping my eye on a local nogaro red one #1497. I was quoted 33,800 and I know considering the sticker price that is an outstanding offer. But I'm also convinced the car is not going anywhere anytime soon so either their offer will get better, or the rebate will get bigger as time passes.

The Nismo is made by autech, built from the ground up, 1500 in usa I think. Autech are the people responsible for all the GT cars that you are currently seeing and placing on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd poles. Great heritage behind the Nismo!

Just to give you a heads up I am a sales manager at a car dealer in PA. I bought my Nizmo 3 months ago with 7,000 miles on it for 17,500. We traded it in for 17,000.

I just checked E-bay and there are some really nice Nismos for a good price now. It seems the 370 push may be on.. Many of them are over #1500 also..

^ Yea I know $17,500..... I hope you used lube.

I went to check out the 370Z last weekend, and the sales guy was saying that he is willing to sell the 370Z for MSRP which was about $39,000, but he said the dealership was really trying to move the 08's out and would cut good deals if they could sell you the 08 instead of the 370.

I told him my friend was interested in a new 08 vert and would probably buy it if he could get it at invoice. The guy was like yea we can do that we really have to move them because we are getting a bunch of 370's in and once that happens he said he thought they would have a tough time moving them because people would see the new model and not want the old one.

Could have been sales BS but the guy seemed pretty legitimate.
