Default #0191 bruises

Well if anyone was worried as I was...my car is safely at it's new home here in Wahiawa, Hawaii...She fired up fine; sounded just as I remembered her at the docks when I picked her up today. The car was/still is dirty as all hell. I was giving the inspection sheet to overlook my car, and even through layers of dirt I could see this quarter size scratch on my hood, wasn't really pissed cause I missed the car so much. Then I continued cause is wasn't deep, as I looked over the wheels, I noticed a scuff/dent/curb'd type mark on my front right rim. Now I was a little worried about what the hell else was wrong with her. I didn't look over her too much after that, I said to myself I would have her clean'd first then inspect again since I have 24hr to do so. Just got to take her to Nissan for estimates, and a complete check up...

So I brought her home, on the way back I noticed that my interior turn signal weren't flashing where as the exterior was....

Any suggestions, so I can take a swing at it before the stealerships...thanks

I'll post of pics of damage when I get off shift...

Sucks that you have some scratches,

but hey at least they're not dents. You can usually get scratches out for cheap and even if you get a good filler wax/polish you can usually hide them.

Let us know how you make out once you clean the car. After an auto X last year I thought I had absolutly destroyed my car. It had marks all over it, from cones and debris.

Once I really gave it a good cleaning almost all of the marks came off. Especially the wheels. It looked like they had gouges in them, but once you clean them good you can hardly notice the scratches anymore unless you are really looking for them and have you eye an inch from the car.

I'm very glad that you've finally got your vehicle back home. I know your wife saw me in Wahiawa thinking that I was driving your car. lol

I'm really sorry that you didn't find everything pristine about your NISMO when you got it back. I hope that dealership will have some good news for you after the inspection.

By the way I've ran into two others NISMOs in Wahiawa recently. The black one in Wheeler and one other in Schofield brand new pickup three days ago.

I hope to see you soon riding around in your NISMO.

PS. As far as your interior signal light not working, have you check the fuse box?
Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a few seconds and reconnecting?
If your nismo is still new, it should still be under warranty right?

GL.

Just got back from Tony's bodyshop...I love women, or better yet women who love/like or stare a little to long at me...

Went there hoping to get a little more than $400 which was what the shipping company offered. I hoping to get like $900 tops. Well I told her that the car is stock, and that the rims were too. I gave her some rough estimates from what I've seen people pay to fix minor shiet like this. Well this chick was sucking it all up, or maybe she knew that if she hikes it up, and I come back they get paid. So chilling in the lobby for a sec when she comes back with this magically number of $1550 to fix a quarter size scratch & a real light curb'd front right rim. I tried to keep a straigt face while I paid'd 25 bucks for 1550 bucks crazy...now I got to find someone to blend the hood for 1/3 of that
