Default Duel air intakes

Hi guyz

Just wondered if anybody had fitted JWT duel pop charges to there Nismo I know they look cool but are the gains 10hp (at leat thats what I read) worth the money $375 and effort.

Thanks

well for whatever its worth, I have Fujita duals on the way. I have a friend who has them on his 07, and they sound good, and when i drove it, it had alilllll more pull in the mid range to upper rpms. But then again, they sounded cooooool

thats pretty good considering the fujitas add about zero horsepower.

Ok, maybe I am just dense but what exactly were you trying to say? Are you seriously bored enough in your pitiful little life that you feel the need to flame someone for trying to gain useful knowledge from people that have already been there and done that? You must have been one of those special people that was born knowing everything. Just sayin...............

Check out the Injen intakes. They are the only true CAI's on the market. I love my NISMO duals. Worth the price just for the looks and sound IMO.

I'm sorry, I was drunk.

To add anything, I use the Injen CAI's and they're awesome. Only intake, from what I hear, worth using.

The best place to research this would be the VQ35HR forum. However, most on there will tell you how great your stock airboxes are, but for me, they look like ***, hence why I got the NISMOs. The Injen CAI seem to have slight gains, however look to be more of a pain to install. Also, not sure how they clear the yamaha dampner in the front.

Try K&N filter insert 10 min install and about $110 shipped, shop around about a 5 hp gain.
The price will drop and more aftermarket parts will be available, also info of real results will show up over time.

it's not really a "bang for the buck" mod when it doesn't add any power. You were better off getting the k&n drop ins and gaining 4hp and for $100 thats a bang for the buck.
