Default Nismo on ebay with leather seats?

Hey all I saw this nismo on ebay with leather seats. Its only got 800 miles on it and is a high number nismo. My question is..how or where did he get these seats from? Especially when it has red stitching on it. I love my factory seats but if for some reason I had an itch for leather..would anyone perhaps know where I can find these seats?

heres the link:

I went and looked at the car, the original owner had the interior redone in leather, they are not covers. They look great acutally.

If all goes well, i'll be owning that very car tomorrow

Yeah the seats definitely look like very, very good quality for being swapped out. Do any of you feel that he took the oems from another car?? A touring or grand touring? I was thinking that but then when I saw the red stitching along the seats, it made me wonder if the grand touring even had colored stitching. Did an aftermarket company take the existing nismo seats, and wrap leather around it? I only ask because I know the Nismos purpose is to be a track driven car, but the leather, especially one that looks very good like that..makes me wonder. If anybody has input I would appreciate it!

They are re-covered Nismo seats, still the 'sport seat' or however they call it, just reupholstered in leather with the tricky stitching done, matching panels on the doors too. Looks really good, better than I expected. I was afriad that they had swapped the two-tone seats out for some plain leathers out of a touring, but gladly they didn't.

The red inserts would have looked really good had evryhting been leather.

There is a reason why Nismo didt put leather in that car. Its made for track racing. With the leather you slide around in the seats, with cloth it grabs you so you can do high G cornering.

The seats are bolstered well enough to hold me in, i'm also not that small of a guy. I had Recaro's in my old car with cloth inserts in the middle for the same reason, I did like them, but it was not needed. Those seats had a lot more bolstering than the Z though.

Regardless of if it is a track car or not, for a sticker price of almost $40K, I'd feel shortchanged with cloth seats considering all the other amenities the car has that are not necessary on a "track" car. I'm glad I got the leather seat one

I've seen a couple with leather seats lately. There is one for sale down here that they have swapped leather into.

I would still personally keep the original nismo seats for re-sale purposes.

congrats on the purchase!
