It's really sad to hear. I remember when I first got my nismo, the dealer didn't provide wheel locks or floor mat. Bought them within the same day. At least with wheel locks, they will take a little more time to take the wheels. Enough time to crack them with a bat.

I was wondering about the factory wheel locks. I thought they came automatically with the car, but I guess it depends on the dealership. Probably just a dealership add that I never paid much attention to because my husband and I just got our nismo 2 weeks ago and it came with the factory wheel locks. We also have a 3.5 altima that came with them automatically as well. Not saying this would have stopped the thieves, just surprised they didn't have locks on the wheels from the dealership

^Yea I know when I bought my RSX Acura basicly forces you to buy them. You would think they would be standard on the Nismo wheels. If nothing else its an easy way for the dealer to make another few bucks.

I went up to the dealer and got some about 2 weeks after I got my car and realized they didn't have locks on them.

they dont sell for that too much but still, it makes more sense to steal these than the standard 06-08 5 spokes which are regularly stolen for whatever reason.

I was told by a professional installer that it wasn't a good idea to voice what kind of alarm you have...

On another note I think you drove by me once in stockton. I was turning left off March Lane to the mall. I was in a black nismo also. You honked. Unless theres another one in that area.

Sucks man, sorry for your loss. I've been a car theft victim myself. If the Nismo is sitting outside the garage, what do you have inside?

Hopefully there was no other damage to your car in the process.

The OEM rims are rather pricey, so if your insurance takes care of you, you'll end up with a nice set of aftermarket rims.

hmm, another case of this. Too many thieves out there right now. Get some wheellocks and should atleast put a motion sensor light out front.
