Default Painting a NISMO??

I'm new to the forums, I got an '08 350Z Nismo a few months ago #1397 Black, and I was wondering if its seen as sacrilegious to paint a Nismo any color other than the 4 (maybe more but I've only seen red, black, white, and silver) they naturally come in. I was hoping for a few opinions on the matter, thx in advance, PEACE!

What color do you want to paint it? I personally would spend my cash on coilovers/turbo, etc.

As long as you don't plan on saving it as a future "classic" then go ahead and paint away! Just don't put flames or stripes on it!!!

You can only paint a NISMO with NISMO paint. Its so fast that regular paint will come off at high speeds.

Its your car, I say do what you want........ But atleast spend some $$$ and do it right, door jams, underside of hatch etc. nothing worse than seeing a different color (esp on a really nice ride) on the outside, and a mismatch when you open the door.......What color were you thinking??

I say wait till you have so much dings and scratches that you cant stand it anymore.
then paint it.

Don't do it!! This is a special edition car..and if you ever need to sell it you will be hard pressed to get a decent about for it once your alter the paint.
If kept long enough these could be collectible one day! Keep that in mind.

Just my opinion..

well if thats the case would that actually require a "repaint" or just a ton of sanding the clear coat off..lol..and spraying a flat coat..?

I dont know I still would not touch the paint..keep it orig. or find a Nismo in the color u want and trade for it..

No Alsa Paint Co. makes a soft touch clear. It feels like the INCIPIO iPHONE covers and it is a clear coat put which ever color you want as the base coat and then spray that clear, gives it that flat look and a crazy feel.
