Just got finished with my new paint job. Burnt Black Cherry Burgundy Pearl with Eleanor Black Metallic Lower rails.

"De-emblemed" it as well. I hate advertising for the car companies.

More pics tomorrow.... Nice try on the trade in comment....even thought they look similar, the lighting does not do the paint job justice. This is a $6500 custom mixed paint job my friends.... anyway, thanks for the nice compliments. And yes, the entire car was disassembled and maticulously painted. Every thing was stripped down. The pics don't really show it yet, but I also painted the mirrors Eleanor Black and the b columns as well. The original car was stock silver. Later. Nizmo 648

Not a fan of the paint job. Also, that car is 1 of only 1600 made for NA and has a decent chance of becoming a collector's item and you just took a ton of residual value out of it.

 

Thought this was a friendly thread??? There are plenty of posts in this site that actually advocate customization and doing what "I Like" to the car. Besides, If Nissan had some real ***** they would have picked more stylish colors than the 4 they ran with for the stock colors. I like to have my ride stand out in a crowd. When i drive by people stare. I even had a State Patrol pull me over just so he could check my ride out. Anyone can go buy a cool car with everything stock and pamper it til their ***** turn blue hoping that one day she"ll retain her value. I'm in in for today! Thanks for the opinion though. I thought long and hard about changing the color, thats why I went all the way and had the car completely disassembled for paint. I at least stuck with a Nissan color, although I will admit we tweaked it a bit for detail.

Let me guess... You played high school football, but couldn't make it in college... You always got what you wanted when you were young, all the girls, etc., and now all you have is your pc. You suffer from nevergonnaamounttoanything syndrome and you hate everyone cause you realize even with all that you have, you still are a very lonely person.

Anyway, thanks for the comment on the car. After all it is just a possession. I like it and when I lay my head down at night that's all that really matters anyway!!!

 

Like I said in the thread, the color really doesn't show well in pics. When the sun hits it though, look out!

Here is what she looked like when I got her, and some minor changes I made before I decided to go for the complete make-over. No the interior color does not clash. With all the windows blacked out, you couldn't tell anyway
