^ Reasonable money for your Civic. Is the Nismo 350Z new or used? Might want to keep the Civic as a DD in case of snow...I drive my 09 Civic Si Sedan as my daily driver.

I would offer the prices quoted on Edmunds for what people are paying.

^ Good call, and you can't drive this car in the winter... so unless you honestly want to take public transportation, and considering your age/driving experiance... perhaps a regular Z that you can put winters on or something more practical.

At 18 you're lucky you can afford 30g's with a trade in. But seriously, you'll need something for the winter.

very true, im only 20 and i dont have to deal with the snow, and bad winter condition, seems like a lot of people store their z for the winter. something to think about

Thought that was a bit high for trade value. I paid $20800 for a brand new 09 Civic Si Sedan. I would be very careful on this deal. Sounds like they are already changing their story.....Might make more since for you at your age to stay in the Civic Si.

I kinda skipped through the whole thread and only read the OP's original post....in any case, this is why I would choose the one with the lower miles. First off, it has almost (if not more, depending on how you drive) 1 year less in mileage...and even though you see scrapes underneath, it would be due to a person not too experienced driving a lowered car...I'd get that vehicle up on a lift and if everything (body/frame wise) is clean, I'd go for that one...you can always fix cosmetics...also with only 1000 on the vehicle, even if they drove the vehicle rough, it was only for a very little period of time (only 1000 miles)...that is, if they drove it ROUGH...now, to the 12k one, well, bottom line is, it's has 11k more, and if the driver of the 1k one drove rough for 1000 miles, imagine someone driving rough for 12,000 miles...

get the 1k one, it has less of the "what ifs"...
