As for regular stock GTs, they really don't impress me at the track....but the sound of a built supercharged stang....well that's a whole different story!

Only American made car I would ever own would be a C6 Vette. Apart from that I will ALWAYS be a proud owner of a foreign made car. I'm a Z/G lover and always will be! Enough said.

What about handling? I am currently in Iraq and I don't get much TV, so bear with me here. I watched that british car show on BBC (can't remember what it's called) and although they loved the raw power of the GT 500, they said the handling was horrible for the price of the car.

Rice= every thing made in Japan, now Asia. From the 60's if it was made in Japan it ran on rice, which is were the term Rice comes from. The term has expanded over the years to mean different things. Maybe term started back in the 50's from Harley riders calling them rice burners, know there rice rockets aka crotch rockets I owned a 84 FJ1100, the first motorcycles from Japan that were sold here.
To me if its a good car or bike it does'nt matter to me were it is from, performance is what i'm looking for. So tech. every thing on this web site is Rice.
But I still love my Nismo even though it is Rice!
PS. I must be the biggest a$$hole of all, because I own 1 of each!

So are a vast majority of Z owners.
Cause they own "American Muscle cars"....Yeah right...I don't like to be cocky. But I see Mustang owners that know nothing about their cars and laugh when they say they can own a Z....even people at school think a stang can rape a Z...I just laugh and tell them to believe what they want. A true car enthusiast, regardless of the car they drive, will compliment other nice cars. Whether it be a Z, Supra, Mustang, etc.
Your Cobra = My friend had to sell his Satin Silver 03 not too long ago, fun times.
And to finish it up, my response to this thread https://my350z.com/forum/other-vehic...-305-hp-5.html.....
Ford is finally going in the right direction with the Mustang imo, but in reality they've been taking the right steps, with the redesigns (they started the whole retro craze) and the potent 4.6s and the SVT vehicles, and finally the staggering sales on this model alone. This is just another step forward for them. Just wait for the 5.0 debut, rumored to be 400hp, makes me wonder what changes lie ahead for the GT500. Love it or hate it, the Ford Mustang is the American icon that still lives and breathes ever since it's birth, and I firmly believe it will continue on to be so.

Here's the deal, you buy what you like and can afford, If you consider what other people think - like or dislike - then you fail, and the main reason for this is that you are the one
paying for your vehicle not them. Unless you are buying a pinto and someone is telling you that they tend to catch on fire when they get rear ended ( and the chances of getting rear ended are very high ) well then you might want to consider their input. Import or not, but what you like or best fits your needs and If you need to tow something, get a truck or an SUV. MAN UP and make your own decisions and don't let others make them for you.

Again such ignorance on this forum. You people are no better or worse than Mustang owners. Such hypocrisy is amazing. The Z is far from a super quality vehicle. Like I said before every domestic I have owned has had less issues than my Z. You people are pathetic with your ridiculous bias.
Well lets see. I never had a problem with my RX7, Supra, Evo(over 700whp on a 4 cylinder) or 350z but I sure did have problems with my Fords and Chevys. I still loved my Mustang and Nomad, the Silverado was garbage, but they cant compare to some of the imports I have had. I still prefer American metal from the 30s to 60s over current domestic cars by far. If I ever get another American machine to build it will be a '34 lowboy. Ill give credit where it is due but that's becoming hard nowadays.

Well the Nismo edition is just another way of saying "ugly edition" IMO. Even the power addition in the new one isn't enough to save it. The Nismo kit's are just ugly and take away from the (especially in the 350's case) original lines of the car. Z's look best with the stock bodywork, especially in the 03-06 350's case.
Classify this one under rice.

My Caliber SRT4 DD will most likely walk 95% of the NA Z's here, years 03-08. I know that I cannot keep up in the corners, but I could modify my suspension to come close. A combo of more power with improved handling could take a stock/NA bolt on w/ stock suspension Z on any road course.
Give respect for performance where respect is due. Styling is a little more subjective, but you cannot debate empirical performance data.
It is YOUR job, as an enthusiast, to amply research performance statistics for ALL cars before you make an ignorant evaluation/comparison.
