Radiator Cover for NISMO - DIY =)))
I looked very hard and couldn't find the radiator cover for my NISMO '07, therefore I decided to buy a aluminum sheet(plate) and DIY. SIZE: 1 meter x 20cm
I haven't finish it yet... still need to drill the holes and planning to paint it. What u guys think? Should I paint it? What color? RED, SILVER, BLACK, WHITE...etc...etc. Or should I just leave it the way it is and polish it. Your comments will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
Here are some pics I took yesterday and today. Sorry for my poor English, but I hope u guys understand what I mean.
1. Get a piece of CARDBOARD and start drawing the shape u want and cut.
2. Align it and draw the holes.
3. Close the hood and draw the hood's line and cut it.
4. Place the CARDBOARD over the aluminum sheet(plate)
5. Use some paper tape to hold it, so it doesn't move around while you draw the lines to be cut later.

Continue.....
6. I taped an extra piece of CARDBOARD on both upper corners.
7. Voila... time to start cutting.
8. I bought a scissor, specially to cut things like aluminum.
9. On those difficult part where I cannot reach in with my scissor, I used this machine. (I don't know how you call it in ENGLISH).
10. Samething here as step #9.

+1 Paint it black, nice job! Your english is better than 90% of the people here! I think the other cutting tool you referred to is commonly called a Dremel (a brand name of a rotary cutting tool).

Thanks rromero, what u mean by "powdercoat it black"??? Do u mean by MATTE BLACK???
Everything I buy from the US will cost me about double of what you guys pay there. If not, at least 50%.... Coz I am not in USA, but down here in S.America, PARAGUAY!!!! $UCK$$$$!!!! Last time, I paid my SEIBON TS Style CF hood for $650 including shipping to FLORIDA and they charged me from FL to Paraguay another $500... ended up paying $1150 for my CF hood.
I am thinking about MATTE BLACK, what u say?
Thanks NismoZ_840...so I learned a new ENGLISH VOCABULARY...lol ..... DREMEL... yes... that rotary cutting tool that u can cut and also use it to drill or use it to sand(polish). Thanks bro!!!
YEAH.... BLACK ftw.... lolz

Thanks man!!!
Hi ICE, I wired JENKINS NISSAN in Lakeland, FLORIDA US$40,100.- with 17 miles on the car. After all the customs, freight, insurance and etc...etc.... I put down another US$25,000. So I paid about US$65,000.- for my NISMO #0300.
