*searching for a corvette now.....hmmm....honda civic with a crazy ls$$$ motor and ebay mount kits! WOWZA.....*
^Don't ask, random ADHD moment but very nice Z, was wondering if the MCR hood came with rain guards? Hawaii tends to have endless days of constant rain and i do like driving in the dry and wet.

In regards to a corvette lol, my neighbor is a GM of a chevy dealership and he'd bring home different cars for me to tool around in on weekends, and lemme tell you, the Z06 corvette is very cramped inside... Not my thing, although their motor is BADA$$!!

I have been busy resolving some other things with the Z. I had the rear end of the car rebuilt. The 4.08 gears had developed an excessive whine. Performance Motorsports was exceptional. They took their time and replace the 4.08 ring and pinion gear, all the bolts, bearings and shims. It's absolutely silent now. Everything was under warranty. I had only put 3 kmi on the car since install.
While there they also adjusted the car. We dropped it a good finger width or more. Then had it aligned. Where I found out, the Nissan Dealership that installed my rear SPL camber kit had spun the adjuster all the way out. So there was little room for adjustment. I need to have the kit removed and reinstalled.
My rear camber is now -2.3 on the left and -2.5 on the right. Arrrrr
We also went over my built for TT. I lined out what I want done and recieved my estimate. We almost put the 3.5 FD back in while I was there but I decided to wait. I luv my 4.08 gears to much togo the summer without them.
Thank you to the Team at Performance Motorsports for taking such great attention, care & detail when servicing my Nismo. I'll post up a feedback post in the Northeast section of the forum as well.

BUMP! My car is in the shop this week to have the door handles and front side markers painted to match. I am only doing the markers because I absolutely hate Amber! I hope to have the bumper filled in the fall. I may just mount the canards over the painted markers for now.
I'll have to see what it looks like when I line them up by hand.

Nice bro! I agree with the amber looks terrible remark. Lol I really don't know why they didn't just use the 380rs bumper with no markers in the US?!? What the hell is the point of bicycle reflectors on a $40,000 car? Nonsense. On a better not, I am planning the trip to LA soon with my z and am gunna have that gray portion of the ground effects wrapped in carbon fiber like they should have come from Nissan. Along with the roof and hopefully my replacement spoiler if a guy on this forum comes through!
FYI: I'm looking for another version 3 nismo spoiler base for a replacement to the one I had. Maybe someone could have a connect that would come through on a good deal?
I also ordered those MCR tow hooks so the car will pretty much be dialed in this summer/fall. Only thing I could want to do further to the exterior will be the dry carbon doors and hatch and this sucker is done!!
Post pics as soon as you get the car back, curious as to how it'll turn out...

Get the canards on yet?
I have the mcr spoiler to be coming shortly... All I need to get now is the dry carbon hatch and the 380rs fender accents...
Lakeside, opinion on the next mod project, brakes or suspension, they gunna both be around the same cost, but the pieces I want are ridiculous and cost arms and legs. Have you seen the moton clubsport dampers? I wanna match that with a full spl package. Thoughts?

Yeah... I haven't had the time. It's race season for me. I just finished building two skis and have two left to do. Every weekend I spend at the lake tuning & running buoys or just drinkin beer's on the boat!

I second his post on being to busy.. I'm still on a boat in the middle of the gulf. Trust me, there's nothing more I'd like to do right now than finish my car. As Soon as work slows down I'll have plenty of pics to share. Prolly be my luck and we'll have a hurricane and I'll have no time at all then. Keepin the fingers crossed though..

Nothing wrong with being at Sea! I love the water... I am often divided between my skis/boat & the car. Typically the car looses. I wish I could enjoy it more, but it can't pull a double trailer back & forth to the lake house. The most time I make for it is Sept-Nov 1st.
