For the '07-'08 Nismo V3 Bumper

This next picture makes me want to paint the gunmetal matte black to match the door handles & rims.

I'l bring it up when I take the car in for an estimate.
Whats your opinions? Gunmetal with the Carbon fiber or Matte black and the Carbon fiber?

They are going to be removed. Having plastic cut and welded in place and then edges filled and smoothed. Will repaint the entire bumper. I may also paint all the gunmetal matte black.
Job will be professionally done! Nooo worrries man.
I have wanted these canards since the day I bought my Z! It will be done right.

Chris - I'd def. do the lip in a matte or satin black. Will tie the rest of the stuff together. I'd also look and see what they will charge to spray the side lower 'diffusers' (under the sideskirts) at the same time
Use 'em well, and thanks!

Going for a similar look. But I want mine to be blacked out. Will look badass. The gunmetal will be painted matte black i think. The gunmetal just isn't going to flow with the look I am trying to create!
I will send out my headlights and have them blacked out and modded as well. Door handles will also be painted matte black.
Not sure If I will be able to get the car painted before the holidays!!!

The MCR carbon fiber canards came early for me thanks to Adam @ Z1..... I was not expecting a set in the states
Thanks for the comments.

that's the great thing about winter in Clifton Park - it started like 2 months ago, and doesn't end for a long time, so you have plenty of time to pay for paint (I went to school in Albany, so I know the winter months all too well!)

MCR is like ARC! Not cheap...

For me I chose to do the MCR canards first over the ARC HR combination catch can. Thats to come later on.

Finding them for a certain price, and delivering them, are 2 different things
When it comes to this specialty stuff, we don't claim to be the cheapest out there. I'm ok with that. I just like being able to offer such pieces to our customers who want them. Many months ago, we were a little under $700 for them, but prices change currency fluctuates, they get shipped in differently (air vs boat for example), so prices adjust accordingly.
I wish they were cheaper...we would stock more, and sell more. But, MCR is a small firm, that only does a very limited amount of products, all of which are hand done, and they charge accordingly. These are the types of parts that previously would not have been offered to US customers at all. I remember years ago when the only way to get, for example, a Zero Sports part (Subaru) was to walk into their office in Japan. Same went for Spoon. Many of the Japanese firms don't really have a global mindset. They are small, boutique oriented firms, that focus on just catering to their local clientelle. It's just a different business model that people here are generally used to.
