Photos of Nismos With Aftermarket Exhausts
i went with the M2 exhaust. nothing exciting. but i liked the sound of the other guys m2 on here so i figured id give it a shot... then i thought id be new and original and put my nismo tips on the exhuast... and then i realized its been done. lol. but still.... its one more pic i suppose. and ill try to add audio.

here is the youtube video of my new exhaust. its an M2 PERFORMANCE true dual exhaust with BERK non resonated test pipes.
my personal thoughts on the exhaust: its an awesome exhaust that give the car the deepest rumble and turns heads everywhere i go. BUT it is VERY loud and im probably gonna have to dynamat the trunk and work to figure out a way to keep the exhaust noise from killing me. but i still like it.
installation: the exhaust is a for the most part an EXACT fit. the only part i had an issue with is the passenger side muffler (final exit piece)ALMOST wouldnt bolt up. i had to loosen all the exhaust bolts as much as possible, have one person pull the exhaust pipe toward me as much as possible and then i pulled back and down on the muffler until i could get a bolt through it to bolt it down. it was the hardest part... other than that and having to work on making the mufflers level with each other.... ITS DEFFINITELY WORTH EVERY PENNY.
welds= great
sound= MEAN
installation= kinda tight fit but all worked out well
noise level= LOUD
rasp=none, but the exhaust does have a pop on decelleration... which ive heard even when i had stock exhaust and Test Pipes.
recommend?= HELL YES.

I'm dumbfounded as to the intentions N83's tenacious complaints. I did not see any specific rules that non- Nismo owners could not participate in such a public forum. As far as I am concerned, should one consider such high exclusivity and/or membership, they should start their own site, exclusively for arrogant and selfish owners. Also, it would be highly suggested to Password protect it from unauthorized (non-Nismo) access.
A Nismo owner should be very humble that base owners are attempting to copy their vehicles. Bottom line, it could never be done; however, it is quite pathetic (almost to the point of obsurdity) when an attempt of harassment and/or discouragement is shown from an owner/owners. It is possible that N83 feels threatened or someone pissed in his morning chow; nevertheless, I do believe he is a better gentleman than what his comments portray him to be.
As a famous General once said, "The gentleman does not needlessly and unnecessarily remind an offender of a wrong he may have committed against him. He can not only forgive; he can forget; and he strives for that nobleness of self and mildness of character which imparts sufficient strength to let the past be put the past. A true man of honor feels humbled himself when he cannot help humbling others."
Good hunting.

Thus far, the pics supplied have been very entertaining. We seem to have covered most of the exhausts, foreign and domestic. This thread has turned out to be a very good source or ref.
I am ready to switch things up next year. I have 8 kmi on my HKS and to me it's just to loud for me lately. I have considered removing the secondary cat on the OEM exhaust and running an aftermarket Y-pipe or just using the stock one with the Nismo muffler.
I just haven't seen any other dual exhaust systems that I like. I like that the Nismo finned diff cover can be seen with the HKS system. It looks menacing.
I like the Amuse R1 titan depending on cost. lol My goal is just to find a nice deep tone, no rasp with a clean look. Sure I like the sound of my car now but overall, on longer trips or mountain runs it's becoming annoying.
