New NISMO purchase
I'm about to make my decision on purchasing a NISMO 350z but I have a question. Most of the prices I've seen vary but my question is: should I buy an older one like an 07 or an 08? I've actually seen one that was 5 of 1601 and others in the mid 600s and late 1300s.
Just curious because i don't want it if there were quirks being worked out in the early stages.
Let me know.

I'd go for the 08. The 07 has a slave cylinder recall and should be done if not done already. It's really minor, but other than that 07 and 08 are identical. Consumer Reports have good things to say about both.
Edit: Is your question about which Nismo to purchase i.e. V1, V2 or V3?

Actually I like the white but the wife says she doesn't because of the color scheme of the inside. I actually agree with her on that. Since the car is black, the interior would flow the way it is better to me.
I plan to just put a nice system and a navigation in it. Possibly change the wheels but not sure yet.

Take a look at the cars you're considering and checktheir condition. Otherwise, good luck with your decision!
Yeah I'll do that. All seem to be in great condition. All are at dealers also. I'm bias to the white because all my vehicles are white but I just want to get a good deal.
Lakeside: I found a few red ones but wifey says its too flashy.

The Nagaro Red clashes with the gunmetal IMHO! I think it looks like ***. I have compared the Redline Nismo and the Nagaro Red Nismo and its a night and bright beach day differance in color. lol
The Nagaro red lacks a smooth agressive finish.
I rarely ever see a Redline on this forum.

If I were to ever be lucky enough to get one I would hope for a white. It seems rare to me as there are several black and red local to me. Silver in a 350z is so common. Who would want a silver unless you are in love with it from the get go.
Yeah. I said the same thing about the Silver. It just doesn't do it for me at all. There was one here local in Silver and it never sold so I think they sent it to another dealer. I think I'm going with the Black one because the White one the dealer won't come down and the Silver one is just too plain.
Waiting on the call now......

Oh man decisions decisions. I agree with your wife on the interior not really flowing with the white, but DAMN those PPW Nismo's are ****ing sex. I would not know what to do if I were you.
I guess that doesn't really help.

I just bought a PPW.
My sales points were:
1) low miles 223
2) 6 months into warranty
3) ground effects are very visable - not so on black -
4) white when dusty isn't noticable unless 1 ft away - black after washing looks dirty 1 mile away - had 2 black cars, never again
5) interior looks GREAT when to door is opened - every family member, friend, curious bystander, and z enthusiast who I've show the car too said, roughly, WOW when the door was opened and they saw it -plus when you are driving you barely see it
6) seems to be fewer PPWs out there - don't know the production build numbers, but haven't seen one in my parts and a lot less for sale
Just food for thought.
Happy hunting - hunting is a blast - driving is unreal!

I am almost 99% sure I'll go with this white one in Jersey. I'm not leaving until tomorrow morning to go drive it. It's about 3hrs away.
Here are some details:
08 Nismo 350z #1575 / 8,000 / Existing Warranty / PPW
They are asking $32000 - they dropped to $29990 before I called so I'm trying to negotiate $28000 or $28500 @ max. since I can get a black one for $25500 in GA.
That sound about right.
