That sucks. I don't like front plates and I haven't been rocking it on the NISMO, but once I get the car out of storage I will put one on.

Cops around here are starting to pull people over for stupid bulls**t just to make money.

Anyway, I am working on fabricating a custom bracket that will mount to the front tow hook.

You could put the license plate inside your car. Flip your passenger sun visor down and put your plate so it faces the front. Or just keep it on your dash.

Don't know your exact state law, but here in Illinois it has to be visible and nothing can be obstructing it. So inside the car behind the windshield should do, unless the cop is a ***** and considers the windshield as an obstruction.

RELAX dudes!!... Help is on the way.

Bryan @ precisionz.com sells a flip out license plate frame. Can be mounted under the front bumper or from inside the bumper, and can be wired to a key fob. One touch of the fob and the plate is hidden....or it can be displayed.

lol...my front plate is sitting rite on my dashboard..but the officer said, it doesn't help

he said the front plate can only be mounted to the front bumper...

but he's such a nice officer...he said i could get more tickets for modding the car if i don't get my front plate on....

cuz if some other officers pull you over for no front plate , they will give me more tickets for mods that i have

What about that kit that just mounts to the front tow hook area? Can't remember who makes it.

Don't give up!! One of the other guys mounted his inside the grille. I think they said they cut a small opening about an inch. If you search the board you will find the post. It can be done. One of my buddys installed theirs inside the bumper so that it dropped DOWN!! Get a good installer and it will be fine.

I just got mine and will install after my new bodykit is installed.

Here's one kit. Not sure if it works with the NISMO.

http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=3587

And here is the kit I was talking about by Stillen:

http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?i...c=EX&b=STILLEN

Hope this helps!

As far as the options that were mentioned here, none of them work on the Nismo.

Motorized bracket you need to chop up your front bumper/lip, and you don't want to do that.

Zee bracket wasn't designed for the Nismo, won't work.

Stillen bracket won't work on the Nismo either. The Nismo front end is too long for it to work.

That is why I am going to do mine own, similar to the Stillen setup. I might end up making a couple if all works out.

I think it's hard not to drill holes in the front bumper if you want the license plate there. You can try customize your own similar bracket tailored to the Nismo as mentioned above. I thought about making a bracket, but mine is currently mounted to my bumper anyways. Good luck with that.

Get a legit PBA card and abide by every other traffic regulation and I doubt you will ever get a ticket.
