How many others on the road have you seen?
Mistanismo, you think because I live in WV I never see Nismo's! Obviously you misjudged my location. I see them alot. There are atleast 5 with in 10 or 15 miles from my house. There was even a couple on here that had two of them! Both black, liscensed his z and her z. Like I wrote before there are almost as common here as regular z's. A dealer in Hagerstown MD (about 10 miles from my house sold 3 of them). I feel bad for the rest of the nation that never sees them
. Anyways, you say that I am bashing the Nismo, then obviously you didnt read all of what I wrote. I dont normally venture into the Nismo section but the title thread caught my eye when I logged onto the furom section. I dont hate on anyones car!!!!!!! You spent your hard earned money for it. But to state an opinion on certain aspects of the car is a fair and valid point. Im sure not every Nismo owner loves everything about the car.
Klaze1
and dont put a front saying the 350z looks better stock than nismo or anything like that cause then your just lying to yourself.
To each thier own Klaze1! If you put a Nismo V.1 body kit on a track model car would 95% of the people care about the boxed frame? Who knows! But throw the fact that its a special edt (numbered car) into the mix and the attention draws to the Nismo. I like the look of the car from the front, the back is the problem. I know its all functional, but most people cant tell the difference in normal commuting. If you live in NYC and drive the car 5mph from light to light from one parking deck to another. Your not going to notice a big difference. It comes to ask why that person would buy a Nismo? Again, I am not bashing anyone or any car. We all love Z's in one shape or form.

In all seriousness, what was it like going from stock to TT's? I'm just curious because I watch video of other guys twin turbo's, superchargers, etc. and it makes me want to invest but da**, I know I shouldn't.
Its weird, I kind of mis the sound of my old setup of Nismo headers, Stillen test pipes, and Nismo exhaust. TT really quites down the car compared to what I had. I have AAM's 3" down pipes, into AAM's 3" true dual exhaust now. Whats it feel like, my hands still sweat when I do get it out. I rarely drive it. I am one of those neat freaks that only take it out when the weather is perfect in the summer and spring. I put 470 miles on it last year. It stays in storage all year long. I know alot people will say drive it but with all the snow and the roads being covered in salt and stones I dont want the rock chips. So I wait until late April or early May to even get insurance back on it. To answer your question its a blast to drive, when I do.

. Seriously, I can't stand to not drive it much. Case in point, I was in the wrong car tonight (of course, always happens) and this standard Subaru Impreza was driving close up on my bumper and zooms around me and and my wife. I look over at her and she just smiles and says, "I know, it's unfortunate we didn't have the Z for that guy". Do you ever give other cars the business when the opportunity arises? 456+ is no joke in a car this size. Sorry, I'm full of questions but it's something I want to do down the road to my Z also.
I figured it was a beast, lol. I'm pretty bad about where and when I drive mine but I have to drive it more than 470 miles a year! Just giving you a hard time

Now maybe due to not driving it as much or what. I havent had any situations arrise. A buddy of mine has a evo, he wants to play. I can say the only time I raced a person from a dead stop was right after I bought it. All I had was a Nismo CAI, he was driving a black 2005 STI with ugly gold wheels and a very loud exhaust. Either he didnt know how to drive or what I had 2 cars on him then he just fell off the map. We stopped on the side of the road about 4 miles down the road. He said he normally blows away Z's, and that the reason he dropped off is due to missing a shift. Funny, there's always a reason!
To be honest, I really like the STi's and may get one down the road but those gold rims would get a nice new powder coat color if I bought one with those rims. I hate those as much as you do.

^ you can thank greddytwin for that, he should of just kept his mouth shut, he had to be "that guy" who needed to antagonize the nismo Z.
Like I said before, No matter what the thread topic, there always has to be that one guy that needs to rag on the nismo Z, or in this case, share his feelings about it.

My god get a life! No one was ragging, just giving my opinion due to what someone else wrote. He gave his opinion that someone was drooling over his nismo. No one bashed him for giving his opinion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I started by saying that Nismo's are fairly common here. But I guess you couldnt see that, you just wanted to hate on anyone who dare question anything with a Nismo badge on it. I even apologized for some what stealing the thread! Maybe Nismo owners should start thier own website if they dont want regular Z owners to chime in from time to time. Im sure all of you go to other parts of this website and put your two cents in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
