Finally! Front license plate bracket for Nismo!
Just like many other Nismo owners out there I didn't want to drill into my front bumper to mount a license plate. I'd rather not have a front plate at all, but the law states that a license plate must be mounted in the front. I was tired of the harassment and $75 fines from cops.
There weren't any drill-less options for a plate mount that worked with the Nismo front end so I had to engineer one myself. It took a lot more time and effort than I thought it would.
Nonetheless, I have completed a bracket that mounts to the front tow hook mount and I am very pleased with the outcome. It is Nismo specific and allows you to have a front plate without having to drill into the bumper.
I made the bracket and rod out of aluminum, which was etched, anodized black, and nickel sealed.
There are two mounting holes that allow 4 different height positions depending on the orientation of the plate. 1/2" and 3/4" screws are included depending on if a frame or license plate cover is used.
I've only made a couple of these as this was very time consuming and I just don't have the time to make anymore. If anyone is interested PM me. Otherwise, I will probably just post in the marketplace or eBay in the next couple days.

very nice job.
I used to live in IL and understand all the harassment from cops. Apparently they have nothing better to do than pick on drivers without front plates or tinted windows. I got a ticket for 70% tint one time, what a joke.

Maybe its because younger people tend to drive Z's where an older crowd drives corvettes and cops focus their attention on kids instead of a guy going through his midlife crisis

wow, that is a pretty sweet plate idea with no drilling needed! Though until I get a ticket for it is the time I will buy this if it is available. I live in VA, and had my car for almost 4 months now and no trouble ( crosses fingers and knocks on wood)

I didn't want to driving just waiting til I got pulled over for a ticket. Pay $75 for a ticket and then you gotta get a plate mount. Better off taking that money that would go towards a ticket and get a plate mount. Otherwise you will have one expensive front plate mount.

My dad has owned 3 vettes over the course of 10 years never having a front plate. He's also been stopped a few times and never ticketed for not having a front plate. Also, like 99% of the vettes I see on the street never have front plates mounted. I just wonder, do they have a special exemption?

No problem bro. I'm glad I made a couple more so other Nismo owners could have a front plate mount. Unfortunately, I only have one left and I don't foresee me making anymore in the future.

Wow, I lucked out then! I got out of the dealership without them drilling the front bumper. I then put on a clearbra, so I really did not want to have to worry about drilling holes and installing brackets. This is a perfect solution, as it looks factory, doesn't mess with the bumper, and can be taken on an off effortlessly. Especially useful for those temporarily mounting a plate to pass fix-it ticket inspections
