Hey guys,

I am planning on getting a Z, and the ones I am considering are 2007/2008 Nismos. The problem I have is this....I hate the appearance of the Nismo bumpers/lips. I think they look absolutely disgusting. So, with that said, how difficult would it be to sell the Nismo bumpers, and replace them with "normal" bumpers?

I love the Brembo and suspesion package, but the bumpers kill it for me.

Why not just a regular 07-08 and save yourself the effort?

 

ask them if they'd work out a trade for ya. but the value of the nissan package is a bit higher, which can offset the labor costs of switching the packages!

Do you even know how much more a nismo350z costs compared to a regular HR or DE??? First you have to find one and by removing the body components you would be decreasing the value of the car.

If your intensions are to build your own nismo, save yourself the hassle and build your HR.

when I think that the nismo aero package somehow allow me to have a little bit more grip than a 996 porsche GT3 in high speed turns.... (similar tires.. NT01 for me, R888 for him)

 

How about a grand touring or track model....jeez

 

Get a Grand Touring, call it a day. It'd be silly to buy a NISMO then take it apart.

 

For the love of god, what a waste of Nismo that'd be! Leave it for someone who actually likes the car in its original form. There are hundreds of thousands of standard Z's out there for you to get and mod the way you want.
