Guys, check your front splitter on the Nismo. Nissan has a design flaw that has the air guides so tight against the front bumper/splitter that it can actually splitt it. I was doing an oil change and noticed that the air guide was pushed ~1/4" into the splitter. To prevent further damage, I did a quicky dremmel tool cut on the air guide in case Nissan wouldn't replace it under warranty.
Here is a picture of what I am talking about:

It is being replaced under warranty by Nissan. I know I am not the only one who has the splitter being cracked by the air guide, another in our local club showed me his before I found it on mine. The passangers side was starting to show signs of stress, so I cut the air guide on that side also. Caught it at around 30k miles.
The best part about this, is that the dealer installed license plate will not be going on the new bumper.

Thats great.
I tried to get my front bumper replaced after it showed signs of cracking by the wheel arch, and Nissan told me they wouldn't cover any body repairs under warranty.
Maybe I will ask them about this next time I go in. My car also has these cracks. I am sure if Nissan North America has a note out on this issue they will replace it. I mean its free money for that dealership. I would beleive Nissan HQ would send them the part free of charge and give them the service fee.

I see a bump on the left side but nothing on the right. Do you think this is the beginning of the problem? Also, so you know what the actual fix is to the new fascia - is there less material from notching out or something else?

If you notch the air guide behind the bumper so that it is not touching, that should solve the problem. If yours is showing a bump, get under the car and cut away the air guide, or take it to Nissan if you are under warranty. Show them this picture and ask them to trim the air guide so they won't have to replace the bumper in a few months.

Yes, the splitter was cracking.
Here is a picture of the fix. Not mine Nismo, but it shows the fix

See the two air guides under the bumper? You need to notch them so they don't come into contact with the splitter.

Damn, mine has the same issue...looks exactly like that. I've been wondering how in the hell that happened as I don't drive the car on a regular basis and have never hit anything with it.

Had the service guy take a quick look and have an appointment this thursday. Called Nissan and they said to start with the dealer. Any help as to how that dealer replaced it would be appreciated. Or what a fix would be to not replace.

well I tried to go through this process of getting it replaced with zero luck. the dealership and then nissan both refused to replace mine for the exact same cracks--the district service representative was impossible to speak with in person and refused to even look at the car. my experience was less than stellar
