+1 on the twin turbo! I might go with AAM's Greddy 20g twins or GTM's twin turbo upgrade. I'm just wondering because I really like GTM's design because it's both oil and watercooled as opposed to Greddy's oil cooled turbos.

just becareful with all this new power you guys plan on getting...please get some track time to get use to the power rather than doing it on the streets. Just some seat time in a HPDS or something just so you can floor it without worrying about other obstacles. Kcee91 you especially, do you know what happen to the last two boosted RED Nismos? Don't ask! Can't wait till Ricky comes home...I wanna see this power!

I had dead links on my page 9...fixed them...

^^^^ So true! Just with my modifications my Nismo is a whole different animal... It has gotten away from me once or twice. I was always lucky and no traffic was around.

King, Yes sir I will! I'm planning on tracking the car first to know its limits. I don't want to risk doing it on the street. Anyway, my FI journey is a long ways away, so for right now its cool! i haven't seen any stories of boosted Nismo's that were red. All I saw was the one back awhile ago when a kid parked it, but an Altima slammed into it and the Nismo ended up on a curb. I also remember the thread where a Silver Nismo crashed going into a turn I think at 70 and it was nightime. We'll see though what I plan on doing. I really would like to see my VQ fully built with cams, valves, and etc. I remember reading one time in Super Street Magazine debating between NA, Supercharged, and Turbo charged. I might stick with NA like you guys because it won't be too much maintenance as when I go FI.

Nismo, I plan on going GTM because I want the benefits of both water and oil cooled on my twin kit.

lol, not trying to be a big power player, jus trying to finish a goal of building a truly unique car in the tuner world. For the most part, i'll be 80% there when i get back and install what i got waiting for me.

I should of been TT a year or so ago! But then came a house, the market crash, some unfinished jet ski projects and now just possibly an engagement ring.. It just keeps getting pushed off. My company has also been making massive cuts in upper and middle management. **** is rolling downhill fast to. ughhhh

I use to be a power player! lol

Wow what a day at the Track! I think my luck prevailed... I may have beat the Red Nismo curse today!.. lol

Today at Watkins Glen was suppose to be a paced 3 laps. No passing, with a max speed of 65 mph!.. HAHA yeah right...

We had some slower 280's and 300's behind us. So the Z's and G's were doing 65-90 mph with passing! Track conditions...... 38-40 degrees. Wind gusts of around 35-45 mph with sideways rain. Some streams of water flowing across the track. Very slick..!

I played it safe the first lap. I got passed several times. I had my g/f in the car so was playing it safe. Second lap, I engaged the Z's, two G's and a modded mini copper S. I passed several cars. Pushed the car alittle to hard for conditions and went into a slide. Jumped the curb. Powered through it to miss the guard rail. I missed it by 6 inches. I thru dirt and sod out onto the track. Did a full 360. The car wouldn't start! I kept trying it till it finally cranked over. Took several cranks before it fired. I pulled out before the rest of the traffic caught up. She took it well, not even a scream! She trusted me to keep it together and not crunch the car.

I defin curbed my right rear rim. Ahhhh well... Better then repairing body panels. I didn't let that stop me. I cleaned the mudd out of the wheel and staged for another 3 laps. The dish on my CE28N's was full of mudd. A good 2" deep. Luckily it was only an 1/8th mile till the end.

We were running 65-95 mph! Insane for those conditions. I got my adrenaline fix for weeks.

There was alot of spin outs today. Two cars crashed into each other.

Close call man! Atleast it was only the rim and glad you both were safe. Any overheating problems tracking her? Also, have you been getting a clicking sound in the clutch pedal. Like depress the clutch pedal halfway, then release it. Is that something we should be concerned about? I heard in this thread that they just needed to lube some internal shaft in the tranny. https://my350z.com/forum/vq35hr/3604...p-fixed-2.html

Thanks and again glad your car is safe!

I've never heard a clicking noise. Temps today were cold.. Burrrr! It never went above 43 degrees. No Sun! Not a good track day. But I drove to far to ***** out!. We met up at a restaurant afterwards. Just as I pulled in, I got a flat. Go figure.. I have new tires to install. I'm thinking the bead just lost its seal but somehow survived another 3 intense laps and 4 miles to the restaurant.

Thanks! Glad we all made it home in one piece. The g/f sat out the next 3 laps! lol I spun out with two cars behind me that I had just passed during our first run. Fortunate they didn't clip me. Glad we were all able to laugh about it later.

Dang Lakeside, close call!!! Glad everything was fine later...The last event I was at, I saw a chick in a suby take a turn and literally forget to brake! The instructor with her was my friend...The worst part of this is that they had harnesses but no roll cage...Thank God for the B pillars holding up. Everyone was fine other than a few scratches, but the subaru looked like it just rolled through hell and back!

Glad you and your z are ok man!
