KingBaby's Nissan Nismo #0191 'Lin'da'
I think it would be a cool mod to do, however if you're going to improve your braking reliability I would suggest changing out your brake line fluid to something more high temp rated first. Past tests of the Nismo show the brakes failing after a few consecutive hard stops, causing the fluid to overheat.

we keep it classy, and our club had a nice spot. I was the lowest/flushest one, we didn't have anything crazy hence we didn't win a dam thing

As far for brake fluids Motul would be best because of higher boiling points and SS brake lines. King I saw a guy used basic tubing from a vaccum cleaner, but made carbon fiber piece for the rotor. BTW how much it cost you when you made carbon parts?

Not much braking needed in autocross vs. long circuit races. King quoted the guy who had problems with his rotors with 3 days of circuit racing so he was asking for advice on what type of rotors he needs. The dude cracked his rotors from heat stress even though he had brake cooling kit.

Yea the tubing for the brake ducting doesn't have to be high tech tubing. Vacuum hose should be enough. The area facing the rotor might need to be coated with something heat retarded. I'm still reading other forums/platforms and what they have done!

EDIT:

I wanna say I lost about 20-25lbs in the structure itself. With the pioneer speakers and sub/amp removed 40-45lbs was..I guess re-lost lol. Under neat the mat is some sound deaden closed cell foam material which helps running a single exhaust!

Very Nice.... reminds me when I was in the military (USMC) back in the 70's and 80's. I did a lot to my 280Z back then starting with basic 3 duce webbers and from there just kept modding. Now I have a 350Z, done some modding and it's my toy, fun to drive as you said and feel it's power 491hp on a back road here by Carmel Valley, CA., where nobody hardly ever around. Took a group of Z's and G's there and everybody got to feel the power of their cars from stock to modded. A annual Z/G run I do, which later included Porsche, Corvettes, NSX's, etc. Got up to 100 plus cars on the last run. It's called the Carmel Valley/Pebble Beach Run. And oh some beautiful cars to look at, just like yours. Only time I ever collected tickets was when I owned a 911 Porsche, boy was that a magnet when I was in Hawaii. My 260Z, 280Z, and 350Z were never a real problem though. I had a radar detector (illegal in VA), when I went to Little Creek, VA for Senior SNCO/ Officer Warfare Training, had my modded 280Z and somebody played cat & mouse with me on the drive. I would turn it on catch the warning turn it off and slow down a while, then turn it on, pick it up again, till I picked up the signal and turned it off and slowed down again. Boy what a drive that was. The good ole days.

I'm way older now and haven't drove the car much. I have gotten to the point of appreciation that I don't need to drive it to want to still modify and buy parts. I have a growing family(duaghter to be shipped to earth on the 1/2/13) and things are in a different perspective. Living Life is an addiction, then you die from it...

ETA for the wheels? I clicked in the thread thinking I was going to see pics with your ride rolling on them
+1 about your sentiments about modding your car, some people think it's a race and forget that you should just slow down and enjoy your car rather than always trying to get something new.

Somewhat..it really makes the engine bay now, HR's are even more ugly then than the DE's...plus we get less dress up options.
Money sent to LSD Motorsports on Nov 12. I will be crying to you guys (admins) if I don't see them or hear any word of them by end of January!
My daughter decided to give me a tax break!
