yea man it's been eatin away at me that my body harness was melting away...

thinking back through all those runs....all those wild and crazy runs, COULD OF BEEN MY LAST.

 

6-point cage and harnesses. Because racecar. Protect yo'self.

 

1lbs of bolts and brackets
3lbs of sound deadening
13lbs of cubby

still have to clean up a few things

That's exactly where I'm doing my main hoop maybe rear a bit. I'm using some of the cubby trans tunnel bracing to weld into main hoop...

moved it out of the garage for a party and bouncy house for my daughter's first birthday

lastly family friend brought his 240 over to tighten up his exhaust manifold and down pipe to turbo housing. Sadly nothing could be done because it's all from ebay so the fitment was booboo

it's actually very light not what you'd expect! It's open end style giving it the lowest mounting of any **** I've seen...

Had a BBQ to celebrate the start of my car LOL...body harness came in and car fired right up...fuses/circuits/wires/volts all that electrical stuff is crucial in these and other modern cars....

Another hard lesson I learn...

So where is the car at.....it's driveable, got the seat in but still needs adjusting, slowed down on the cage build because I don't want to half *** this type of thing...

Well I took the car out to go watch "Lone Survivor" with my local club "VQ I.N.C ...in short great combat scenes...read the book though.


Any who first compliment of the night was a focus st wanting a go....kid was screaming out the window "wanna have some fun"....I replied with



Ha..continue to keep low profile on the highway slow lane to the theater...was a cold night didn't chit chat with no one checked out my club's latest mods or lack there of then left....

Again ran into ricers wanting to race...ignored them but since they where heading my way on a circle on ramp I left them wondering where I went...

Car is alot louder in the interior without the speaker/cubby box...enjoyable but deafening...will be repadding with my old mat and adding more...

Friday got a pretty crazy invite to strip/part out a passed away Z driver's(AmnCruzie) car...I knew him here online before I meet and came to become friends with him here in Hawaii.

Family didn't want the car off the fact he's gone...So they tried to sell it then since no takers since the motor is dead(dunno)....former girlfriend wanted certain friends to take the parts...I felt honored to be on the list...one I didn't want the parts to go to waste and two I didn't want other members or friends to sell the parts for profit that would be a smack in his face...

I ended up talking the former girlfriend/family into giving me the car after she gets a few items off for her own Z car
