A little more than exhaust systems Hawaii but there a bit more performance oriented with there work...

So as mentioned I went back to Rads Motorsports. To have them remove the stock headers outlet o-ring. I left it in when I installed. I wanted them to make a 3' mid-pipe for me but this El Camino had an appointment. So I'm left comtemplating a AAM 3' single exhaust...

Went to get the car dyno at the same place to keep the variables down...

Results a lost of 10whp and a gain of 13wtq!





Sean good guy at his shop Munky Works said it might be my exhaust! I'll load the best of three pulls later. He said it's stronger to 5krpm but drops off compared to my baseline.

So I'm guessing it's the muffler?

Any thoughts?

I very tempted to go get single and get it tuned all tomorrow. I have the money for it just can stand to look at it anymore knowing it's on the brink of limp mode if pushed hard...

 

Yo, yea I'm thinking its the back half of the exhaust...Did the guy tune it or just show you the hp/tq numbers? Also, what kind of intakes do you have? If you're interested in getting new intakes, get the Stillen Long Tubes for sure! Best intakes hands down, and actually help the car put some power down...

 

Thanks for chiming in...he said exactly that. It was just a dyno and from the dyno the car lean'd out a bit. So now it's not getting enough air...so I'm looking at long tubes intakes and a good single...

Why are you thinking AAM? I had a JIC single and it was friggin loud! I am considering going back to a single but this time I think I'm gonna go with Agency Power. Car looks great with the new headlights!

 

You think agency power would be better?

It's been boasted as the best and exotic note for the car!

Still weighing options...

 

Besides the ARC single which is my favorite single (but costs a fortune), I think the Agency Power is the best looking single by far.

 

Why are you deciding on a single? Why not something like a Motordyne?

Not sure if I'm seeing things, but do you have bumper plugs where a front license plate should be? It almost seems like you have plugs in some pictures, but maybe it got edited out in the close-ups? Just curious.

Looking at maybe getting that Show N Go for the front license, but unsure about some things.
