Honestly... I'd take the Stang if it were me. Good luck with your choice.

One very cool car - if I could get it for $26,900 I'll take two (one in each of the colors shown) but I just have this feeling that it won't be that cheap. Sweet ride thought - no doubt!

Props to the specs of the Mustang and the motorsports package but if I saw that on the street and didn't know it was a special edition, I would think it was the USDM equivalent of "rice."

The Boss is a beast and obviously you will need to add a substantial amount of money on top of your Z to get it so if you can do it getter done.

the boss will be between the GT and the GT 500 price wise but the mark up is going to be absolutely ridiculous - ESPECIALLY on the leguna seca version that will have very limited numbers.

have fun getting one.

pretty sure MSRP on the LS edition is $47,995

I have a friend that just ordered the LS edition from a dealer AT STICKER! He's also got a 2000 Cobra R he tracks/drives regularly.

unfortunately most dealerships are as greedy as this one when it comes to high demand low supply cars.

Looks good! I would keep the Nismo if it were me. All the options that Stang has is pretty good. Why won't you just mod the Nismo?

I'm pretty much done with modding cars. The z will need quite a bit to match the stang. Plus the ls will be much mire exclusive than the z will ever be

You are correct, the standard Boss 302 stickers at $40,995 and the only options are the Guage pack, Torsen LSD, Recaros and Track Key. The Leguna Seca has all of that standard, but adds the rear seat delete with chassis bar, the front and rear aero treatments, brake duct kit, wider tires and lighter wheels, slightly different suspension (different rates, lower height and even more adjustment).

The standard 302 is on my list for 2012 spring amongst a Cayman-S, built 240SX with an LS1, a G37 Sport coupe or maybe go a little cheaper than a Boss and just get a 05-11 GT and mod it my way. Just recently I was thinking maybe a Nismo-Z instead of the G37. My interest for which ever car I pick is more track time and despite the difference between all of these cars, they all offer great out-of-the-box track performance.

Good luck with the decision, you can't go wrong either way with keeping the NZ or going Boss.

Sinc your the the type to slowly mod your car this it what you need...

Another ten grand into the nismo and you'd be alright on the track against that thing of a car...

Thanks for the input everyone.
I'm talking with the dealer about pricing and trade for the z, we'll see if I can swing it.
If I do, I'll have a few z related items for sale....
JIC true titanium exhuast, RPF1 wheels, etc.

For 40 some k you might as well get a real car like an Exige or something worthwhile. Do stangs still s**t parts every few months like they used to?
