Spacers/shims on front coils?
I just got a used 2008 Nismo Z, put it up on the lift, and saw what appears to be factory shims inserted in the coils of the front springs. They are black plastic and snap onto the coil. It blocks the space on either side of the coil winding that it is attached to.
Here's the odd part - there are three of these on the driver side and one on the passenger side.
Are these stock or did the previous owner do something unorthodox?

There should be 8 (correct me if I am wrong anybody) total on the car when it comes brand new off the lot. The plastic pieces are supposed to be removed by the dealer when you purchase the car but the dealers tend to get lazy. All you do is pop them out and you're good to go.
There are three on each side if the front. Just jack up the car and take them out. My picture album has a photo of them if you want to compare. The should have been removed when the dealership prepped the new car for sale.
