Brandon3434's 350z Nismo #0277
So sad to hear and see this man. As long as their wasn't any frame damage, then all is good. The thing I don't get is why some drivers are on the road? It seems to me like all the Nismos are in someway going to attract unwanted attention. As King said I will now drive a bit faster and get out of people's way and be more vigilant. Anyway, Brandon sorry to hear and see this happen, but it could've been worse. Atleast your getting a fresh new bumper!
Sorry Brandon. Unless you can convince their insurance company that you need the bumper sooner, rather then later they can air fright it. Or just have the shop include it in the estimate. If it's coming from Japan, you will have to wait for a cargo ship. 8-12 weeks..! My insurance company would of had to air fright an OEM nismo rim if I still had them, but instead will have to make good on my Volk rim.
Lucky for you it was only a small tap. Nothing got bent or crinkled.
Good luck man.

Been there!
Sucks! You either go through with insurance and tell the insurance shop that until it comes it you'll drive it. Then take it to another better shop and have them do there best to heat and manipulate/bondo it to be suitable for the eyes.
I know how you feel bro. When I got rear ended I wanted to throw this kid marine into on coming traffic.
Man I hope this gets fixed super fast and doesn't ruin your summer in anyway...

Thanks for the comments guys!!! Great news, Kevin sent some info my way and I ended up finding two places that had some in stock...Gonna order a bumper tomorrow! So glad theres some in the USA, because it would literally take until next year to get it from Japan. Thanks again Kevin.
And King, yea bro, I was thinking about just getting the replacement bumper put on my nismo, then trying to get a shop to fix the older rear bumper, then I could sell it! We will see...

So this past weekend was my first ZDAYZ. For those of you who don't know, ZDAYZ is located near Deals Gap, NC, which is where the "Tail of the Dragon" is. This road is so much fun and literally perfect for driving enthusiasts. I literally put over 1000 miles on my z this weekend haha. The weather was great, scenery was beautiful, and the people I met were all like a family. I would recommend this event to you guys if you can make it next year! I should have some videos up of the dragon later, but for now, here are some pictures I took this weekend. Enjoy!

Awesome pics of the event! That black Forged Z looked pretty mean. Definitely jealous of it being out of reach for us in Hawaii.BTW, is the Tail of the Dragon speed limit enforced? I read on their website the limit is 30 mph.
Mental note taken on the intakes.

YES, that was a very fun road to drive...Problem was that I couldn't stop because I was following some friends and my walkie talkie was dead so I couldn't get them to stop...I also didn't have cell phone reception to direct me back to Fontana Resort if I stopped by myself. So yea, we all just drove by...I wanted to take a pic like that tho, I've seen that picture before haha.
There are usually at least 2 TN State Troopers patrolling the "Tail". So to answer your question, yes. Even at 30 mph, the driving is awesome! The most dangerous part are the semi trucks and the inexperienced motorcycle riders that hug the center line.
