^rod, when ya free? wanna drop the rear some and possibly maybe to do abs/vdc kill switch sometime....before my vacation is over

I appreciate the comments guys! Still got some work to do and the mod bug is pretty itchy, very tempted to do 4.08 gears, ATS 2 way LSD, PPE long tube headers, Tomei cams......BUTTTT....it would not be cost effective since i wanna TT.....maybe i should pick up another Z....hmmmm

Even with you going TT, why wouldn't going 4.08 be cost effective?

Personally I like the stock gearing but would like to push more power with it. Lurked around on a few threads talking about shorter gearing being too short and some even converting to 3.3 gearing for forced induction

Sooo, got pulled over today by the police because my exhaust was too loud even though I wasn't speeding nor did i ever pass 2k on the tach. But unfortunately there was a cruise earlier in the night which had cops out in swarms just pulled people over to check papers. But the best thing of all, my clutch pedal will no longer return back up from the floor and so i barely made it home as the clutch required full depression just to get into gear. Stalled so many times tonight trying to limp home....so yes, STATUS UPDATE!!!!

If it's not one thing, it's another! Time to repair the CSC! Or save up for a giken grand touring.

Things like this, pushed the canards on down the priority list for me.

+1 on that. You also should go ahead and replace the master cylinder also while you're down there for extra insurance. Btw, how bad was it when the clutch didn't go all the way back up? Did you grind any gears?

Oh ouch! Same thing happened to me last april. Check out zspeedperformance's slave cylinder. Thats the ONLY one I would buy, because its the only one that will last. Also, ask him about your master cylinder, because you'll want a slightly bigger one to keep up with the slave.

I try my best to avoid driving in hotspots on friday / saturday. All those idiots and their 'NEX cruises' always cause heat on the highways.

Fortunately i stalled before i grinded any gears. It literally happened on my way home about 4 miles out so it wasn't TOO bad. I just had to continously compensate for my shrinking engage point so shifting was BAD. plus to get into my driveway, i go suicide angle and have to use my clutch to modulate my way up. So yea, i'm gonna get nissan to replace it since my car is under warranty, if not, I have an ATS twin carbon disk with flywheel and SS line which i'll have put in just in case.

@kushken, yea i went out for a drive to meet my body in town and i ended up having cops pass me in a hurry, i call to find out that its a cruise so when i finally caught up, i told him lets go home. Ran into a HUGE single car crash that ended up putting the guy in the hospital, and from that crash one of the 19 cops came after me just bcuz i was modified. Such fun.

Was the crash one of the cars from the cruise? I'm not big on cruising as its always a couple of people who spoil it for the bunch. I can appreciate a nice car, but I don't feel like I have to get jacked up by the cops because other people can't behave.

It was a black 1989 acura integra with cheap rims and bad tires with cut springs and exhaust. Driver lost control at more than 50 mph leaving skid marks across all 3 lanes until he met the center divider in which his car crumpled into the dash. Passenger was placed on gurney and rushed to hospital, driver was nowhere to be found, there was plenty of blood though from the looks of things.

Whhaaaaaaa... That driver doesn't deserve to drive. Did he run from the accident.. if so, they have his car and info to track him down.. I'm just spitting out my thoughts but damn... what a dick.

Wait, do you have an aftermarket clutch? If so, its just going to happen again within the next 3-5000 miles. The stock slave cylinder cant handle an aftermarket clutch.

i ran into the same thing with my clutch one night, and one day on the highway cruisin in 6th went to down shift and i had no preasure on the clutch, the pedal was on the floor and scared the livin **** outta me, soo i took it to nissan and all they had to do was adjust my clutch linkage and it's been fine ever since. hope you don't need to spend big money to get it fixed, that is if it isn't already. hope the best for ya man.

How do you like your Whiteline bushings and GTSPEC braces? Looking into those and haven't seen too much feedback from a Nismo owner. Were your bushings worn out when you installed the new ones?

Any reason you didn't choose solid bushings? I feel like the mass dampers might help with any noise or vibration
