I got lucky with my MCR canards. They were actually in the states! :O I had them in 10-12 days! Now if only that could happen with an MCR hood! lol

I haven't dated a gurl who doesn't like the car! Only one has ever driven it tho. My last ex was bitter that I never allowed her to drive it. Ahhh well... But I can kinda see where they are coming from if hatin on it. It's a deeper money pit then any boat I know. lol

Plenty of women love my car, just not my wife.

OP: Sorry, if I'm jacking your thread, but did you find a buyer for your stock wing? I am thinking about selling mine and swapping, but I honestly don't know how much to ask. You guys think 2k is fair?

I would hang onto the V3 wing. Just in case!

Edit: The Voltrex is a serious wing!!! Unless your tracking your car or boosted to me it's Rice....

^i agree to the boosted or track part. Original plans were to boost but after research and supporting mods for a first time go on my build, i have to hold off until the end of this year. I do auto-x my car since that's all we have available here in hawaii. I wanted to join the SBC club and i honestly think that the nismo's should have come with a GT wing in the first place to complete the styling of the v3 kit itself. I dunno, i jus couldn't look at it without the voltex or APR wing. Plus, since i'm getting the canards done and maybe a seibon hood (MCR's great but too much for me), the look just seemed to be too busy in front without the wing. Iono, to each is his own and #1208 is my own so hopefully this turns out well when i come home. Don't worry about the thread jack, it helps from opening up other threads

i let my wife drive the Z and she likes how it looks and all but she's jus not fond of how its a money pit.

jerseystyle: i'm actually gna sell mine for like 1300-1400 including shipping once i get it uninstalled

lakeside: I also bought the wing cuz the shop whose doing my bodywork is offering a better price if i do everything at once, so might as well jus take care of it now. Not cuttin corners but this is becoming pretty expensive so trying to do wat i can do finish her right. Anyways, once i post pictures of the completion of her, its def gna get attention from both sides but its the style i want to go with, so hopefully i'll have pic's for everyone by end of month.

I used to only drag my car but I'm looking to do some autox events as well. The car should have came with a GT wing like you stated. Looking forward to seeing your progress when you return. Stay safe bro!

I've had the Greddy 20G tuner kit on my Nismo for a little over a year now so if you decide to go down that road let me know and i'd be happy to throw some pointers your way, especially if you're installing it yourself. I'd really like to start seeing more boosted Nismo's around, thats not completely covered in their company's vinyls

Haha Lakeside that would be awesome, I was on the Top 25 TT Drag list with a 12.2sec pass last year still on the stock block and stock clutch so i'm hoping to get some time to go back to that same track again now that I have a proper clutch!

Nismofreak I did the Greddy 20G's with the motor still in car and the biggest problem I had was dealing with the missing parts from the GTM Stage 2 fuel system (smh). I've worked on a GTM TT kit on a G35 also. We pulled the motor on his car and it was still a huge pain in the ***. I think people like the GTM kit because of the bigger turbo's but its not like the 20G's crap out at like 600hp. I've talked to Eddie the co-owner of Dynosty and he is very confident with a proper 3.5l engine build and tune the Greddy kit would be able to come close to the 1,000whp mark. I personally like the 20G's because at 8psi I'm pretty much at full boost around 3,000rpm based on my dyno graph. If anyone that is TT with an HR that has been able to keep the front strut tower brace, please let me know how you did that? Another thing we have to do in order to keep the front body stabilizer is to flip the brackets and the stabilizer and it can bolt on just above and behind the intercooler

^^^^ Pics of clearances?

I forget if it's an issue with the GTM kit. I'll have togo back through the shop build threads now to look. It's been awhile since I have looked at the install pics.

Are you talking about the clearance for the body stabilizer above the intercooler?

Well, thanks to some help from a couple buddies and trading my nismo suspension as a gift for the help, here is my Z as it stands. Miraculously it clears my driveway....when snaked...and the rear is lowered as far down as it can go and the front was lowered about 3/4 of an inch. So yea....all with the HKS Hypermax III sports I got and running 3.5 turns on dampening all around of the full 7. Hopefully by mid july i'll have more things done but for now, enjoy!

I'll take better pic's in the morning with the southern island as a backdrop....but don't get your hopes up cuz i suck at photography
