They won't last long at -3

I drive my car around 3,000 miles a year. I made it through two years of inspections. This spring it failed. If I rotated them around, I would of got another year out of them maybe. I can't see going through tires that fast at $300 or more a piece.

My fronts are fine. They are at -1.7 since installed in May/June of "08 with stock A-arms.

Good luck man.

so i found an offset calculator on 1010tires.com and if i run a +5mm slip on spacer, i'll have just 2mm more over the front's offset and I should have more room to stick a tire in. If i torque the rear lug's correctly, i should be able to safely run with a slip on as in terms of spirited driving right guys? or stick with a +20mm built in studs spacer? OR OR OR OR, even better, switch the spacers around and in turn end up with -5mm offset all around but if this 1010tires calculator is right, i should have only +41mm extension in front and +48 extension in the rear....

and yes i am aware its pointless to maintain any handling compared to my stock setup currently, but i'd still like to have SOME, even if i need to do a couple things here and there.

*ninja edit/update*

A buddy of mine is hooking me up with someone who owns a shop here and is familiar with several setups so i'll be going this weekend to do a test fit the following setups and see which i'll be able to run.

245/35/19, 275/35/19
255/35/19, 285/35/19
265/35/19, 285/35/19
255/35/19, 275/35/19

lmao, my Z has been down like a couple weeks now. I had to reopen my headlights due to condensation and decided to re-clean the housing at the same time (had weird dust stuff in it). So TODAY hopefully, we're gonna wire and crimp everything back up and after my graduation on friday, i'ma bring her down for some visuals and hopefully order the sizing right after for some Gnosis-sexiness. But yes, i've been jumping up and down and up and down and all the way around to but school, work, and lack of headlight work knowledge has kept it in the garage. Got bad enough where its on a trickle charger

ok...so not much help really this past weekend so i'ma jump back on to the forums for some help. The pictures i posted were with the spring compressed meaning i lowered the rims down onto wood blocks so i can see how it would sit without tires. Currently i'm running .8 front and 1.8 rear camber with the stock rims and 265/35's for the back. I was ORIGINALLY going to go with 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 cause i tried to save the tires from as much camber wear as i could. What are ya'lls thoughts and suggestions? the fenders are rolled and the fronts have been pulled a little. From my understanding, i need to lower and increase the camber in order to tuck the wheels in to the fender instead of them sticking out and looking like a lowrider truck from 10 years ago. Thanks!

lol, its all good, graduation went smoothly and went out with family to celebrate, now time for work again tomorrow.....NOOOOOO....i miss school already.

As for my wheel problem, yea....i know she'll have to go lower and camber will def increase, its just finding the right tire sizing to go with and no one here in hawaii sells even 245 or 275 in 19's. Oh woe is me.

**Update**

Finally found a shop here on oahu who is selling some Nexen N3000's in 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 for CHEAPPPPP brand new and is including mounting and balancing. So probably next week is when i'll bring them over to get them put on and hopefully on the Z! Also i'm hopefully getting some MCR canards finally once some things clear and are good to go, been waiting for MONTHS for these bad boys!

So instead of getting tires and stuff this weekend, this is what i ended up doing today....

Came into the motorpool parking lot at work and immediately got a call that my soldier re-ended another soldier on post due to wet road conditions and etc. We ended up having the soldier whose truck got re-ended (same platoon) use his truck to tow my soldiers car back to his home, then i used craiglists with the help of my Section Supervisor, found ALL the replacement parts and drove my soldier to get every part and install it all. After about 6 hours of wrenching and some creativity, the car started up as if nothing was wrong with EVERYTHING working and no CEL!

Damage from accident: Bent brackets, bent crossmember, pushed in hood, bumper clips all broken, condensor pushed in and bent, radiator busted, radiator fan in pieces, fan pulley bent, both headlights busted, one sidemarker busted, and snapped drive belts.
