I have a 2007 black nismo with 31500 miles, I took it to CAR MAX today to sell it to them they offered me 21,000, I have 7 days that the offer is still good, I know it's not a great price but there was a black nismo for sale locally at our Nissan dealership a 2008 with 13,000 miles that sold for 25,000 but it was for sale for six months any ideas, on selling my car? I owe 16 grand on my loan, when I look up the value of the nismo it gets a little sketchy on pricing KBB does not even show a trade in value, edmunds is very low, and nada seems to be the only true value,any other places to check for value?

funny! I'm so scared of thinking how much I would get for my car if I sold it. I always joke about it when people say nice car..i reply with "it's for sale". Thing is folks ask how much...I dripple out "25-27k and she's your". Some guys (military) even ask for my number and have given me a few text (3)...

 

About two months ago, I bought a 2007 Nismo 350z with 15.9k miles for $21k (from a dealer)...that is just a reference point...the market for the Nismos seems to be so varied!

 

Too scary to even think about lately!....

I know what I paid for mine and what I have in it. What I would get for it, I would rather drive it off a CLIFF and take the Insurance money......

Edmunds is for the consumer, so their value will probably be about best. I think $21k is actually pretty high, so if you're in a pinch, I'd run with that, but sell me the wing first - they won't even know it's gone. In all honestly, you could probably sell the wings and the wheels and they wouldn't know.

When I traded in my 04' G35SC with Brembos, I pulled the Brembos off and they never knew the difference (Nissan dealership). When I took it to Infiniti, they knew.

 

If they offered you $21K that's the same a trade in value. Sell it yourself and make $5K more...

 

...or you could just keep it! Like Zim said, I'd rather drive it off a cliff before selling it for so little.

 

21,000 does not seem to bad to me. Its a nice car but its an old platform now, so you are taking the it for that.

 

Personally for me! It would be an insult!.. I have 10kmi on my car. It has never seen salt or snow. It has never been abused. Has not a single scratch on it. I could put it back to stock and part it out. But to get 21K for a car that I paid 39K for is a joke. Sure its 3 years old but still.... Its a numbered collectors car or so they say! lol

The 370 platform does nothing for me. It has some issues that Nissan should have worked out before putting it into production. Oil temps issues, braking issues etc etc. At least with the Nismo 350z, it's a SOLID performer and in my case, It's really a performer now!

I'm not looking to sell my Nismo. Maybe in 30 years I will reflect back on its value and see what it sells for. With any luck it will be what I paid for it or more. lol j/k But hey you never know.

My car would eat up a Stock 370z! No doubt. Even in the 1/4 with slicks with someone else driving. lol It would run 12.8-12.9

$21 is ultra fair. traded a nismo over a year for that exact price w less miles.

 

Again i have to agree with Zim here. My car is basically stock and I ran several runs against a NISMO 370z at the 1/8 mile track and smoked it every time. Maybe the driver sucked but needless to say I wasn't impressed at all!

 

Whats the address or phone # I'll take my car there and run screaming away with the cash. Think i'll try my local Car Max, I might get another $500 dollars only have 22k mi. LOL!!!

Car max just offered me $22k, has 22450 mi. with aftermarket wheels, and nock off of a top speed 3" exhaust system, should have taken off the Gen3 intakes, ooooooooooohhhhhhhhh well!

You were correct about them not knowing!!!
