The Story of My Nismo
I love reading threads about how people got their car and figured that I would give it a try too
So to start out... I found the car on autotrader and it was close to me so I figured that I would go and check it out. The car appeared to be in great condition and had good paint but the one thing that I didn't like was that the first owner had claimed that the original Rays Nismo rims were stolen off of the car while it was on the lot so the dealer replaced them with the standard 17" 350Z rims
He then continued to paint the rims black along with all of the emblems on the car. I was able to get him down about $2,000 for the wheels so it worked out. After I got the car, of course I noticed a big scratch down the passenger side door going almost all the way bumper to bumper so that kinda bummed me along withe the dinged up lip and front bumper but that I had known about. 2 months passed and I was able to get some cheap rims that I actually love more than the ones asanti's that I was about to buy for $975 a piece!! These only cost me $250 per wheel
So I guess i'll show some pictures below in order of when I got the car, if anyone has a suggestion for a better way of laying this out, i'm open.

This is the car the first night I had it

And after my first wash to get it shining, you can really see how those rims didn't do the car any justice

Just a shot from behind

Yuck! These have gotta go!

New wheels!

2.5" Lip on the rear wheels

Whoops got my finger in there
Alright so I decided to put in a Kenwood 7180 stereo with Garmin Navigation.

So this is all that I have done so far, hoping to do some more in the future!

Congrats on the Nismo and thanks for sharing! Glad you decided to personalize the wheels and get rid of the 17" stocks. Sucks someone ripped them off the dealer. I think all I would suggest is keep the pictures coming and update us on future mods.
