Default smoked gray code

im getting my front lip redone at the shop i've done some research on the color code and i know the smoked gray is K11. my issue is i took it to the shop and the guy pulled out the oem color code book from nissan to match the colors up and there is 3 K11's each one a slight darker shade. we put them up to see how they match all pretty close but i want the exact one any idea which K11 i need?

Didn't know there where shades to the K11 paint code. Maybe for repainting purposes/blending with weather aged paint!

I'd go with the darker one and let the sun fade it over a 3-5 year period.

Nissan assigns different names to the same code, but the color for that code is always the same.

Sounds like the shop just mixed a few variants of the same color...probably, as suggested above, for blending purposes for older paint. Nissan only has one color for each designated paint code.

I am having skirts painted next week. All I told them was it's a Factory color and that the code is K11. They are professionals and can figure out the rest if there is a problem.

I don't sweat it! An experienced shop should have no issues.
