The best thing I have ever done
I took my NISMO to Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia for instructed driving on a road course (Friday at the track).

If you have not done this it is an absolute must! My tires are ragged and the brakes stink and I still cant stop grinning. Here are a couple of take aways:
The CIVIC SI is surprisingly fast, but the NISMO can still take it
The Subaru WRX can pull fractionally better in a straightaway up until about 100 mph but is not a good match in a corner... so long.
Pre 2011 Mustang GT's are absolutely no match.
VW Golf GTI's in the right hands are quite fast, but still slower than a NISMO.
Miata schmee-ata
Corvettes are faster, but not as much as you think.
A twin turbo BMW is a godd*mn fast 4-door (I couldn't touch it and no I don't know the series).
My last observation is that the breaking point in a corner when approached smoothly is surprisingly high. I couldn't believe how hard I could make my car corner if I set it up properly. It is really something to enter a corner at 70-80 mph across the apex, floor it while still turning, come out of the corner at 90 and hit 120 mph down the straight away with a 90 degree turn at the end. It took me a while to work up the nerve for that, but by my fourth run the instructor was whooping and telling me "get him! get him!"
This is possibly the funnest thing I have ever done.
Oh and one more thing... A 911 can be used as a lawnmower. One spun out right in front of me and it was a hell of a sight. The Brembo brakes in the z made sure it was only him, though.

That looked like fun! I wish I had a track I could drive to. Good idea on changing out the brake fluid. I remember one of those car magazines testing the braking of the 350Z Nismo and it lost stopping power fast, with the stock fluid.
